View Full Version : How's Zoneboy Doing?
Hawkee 11-13-2018, 04:06 AM Have you heard anything about Zoneboy these days? Because I know that he used to visit here to read our posts but I haven't seen him since. Has Zoneboy recovered from his illness and will he return to post here. I always look forward to Zoneboy's posts because they are so neat and Zoneboy has been a great friend to me and everyone here and I hope he's doing great
Bestie
I sure do hope that he's doing okay...
AMackII 11-13-2018, 11:51 AM I think Zoneboy's showing no signs of slowing down yet
MISST3 12-12-2018, 11:08 PM Has anyone heard how Zoneboy is doing??
SitcomsHeydayfan 12-13-2018, 11:58 AM What happened to him??
Zoneboy 12-13-2018, 12:05 PM I'm doing good, waiting now to get my prosthetic leg. The area at the knee where the amputation took place has to shrink to a certain circumference before I can be fitted for one. They gave me shrinkers which I have to wear 24 hours a day and I go back to have it measured every 2 weeks. So far I've been going for 2 months, but it's not quite where they want it yet.

Diabetic infection. I originally had 2 toes removed, but the only guarantee I had to make sure all the infection was gone was to amputate the leg below the knee.
Sorry to hear you're going through all of this, but hope what comes next works out for you.
Dude111 12-14-2018, 09:23 AM Im so sorry your going thru this ZB :(

How is the situation with your Kidneys going?

Zoneboy never mentioned a kidney problem so what do you mean??

Kidney problems are part of being diabetic, as are blood circulation problems including your heart and eyes. The legs are the farthest from your heart, that's why the circulation problems strike there first.

Yes, the kidneys can be susceptible as blood sugar worsens. High sugar levels contribute to destroying blood vessels, especially the smaller ones leading to the kidneys.
SinceI’m mildly diabetic I try to know a good amount about the condition, to slow its progression.

Nice hearing from you. So sorry you have to go through all of this. Diabetes can be a real shi**y disease; having to closely watch what you eat, take lots of meds, deal with complications etc. sucks BIG TIME. (I try to be as compliant as I can - but this Holiday Season has been a challenge.)
I didn't know you had diabetes Rich.
Some of my friends have that as well.
MISST3 12-24-2018, 04:06 PM  Best Wishes and Merry Christmas, Charles!!
:):) Hope Your Recovery Continues To Go Well!! :):)
