The Jeffersons is the longest running black sitcom in history! 11 seasons compared to Cosby's 8.

Sherman Hemsley was FAR funnier than Cosby as a sitcom actor largely due to his irreverent humor and outspoken nature! As a stand-up comic I'm sure Cosby was better.

So which show do you think was better?

The Jeffersons is better, to me.

But I do still like TCS mainly because of Clair.
