The actresses, who played both Kelly and Jessie, made the right move committed to other things and had left the show because:

1.) They will both not get forced to guest appear in both that horrible Saved By The Bell: The New Class sitcom and its Saved By The Bell: The New Class episode "Goodbye Bayside (Part 2)".

2.) If they were forced to guest appear in both that horrible Saved By The Bell: The New Class sitcom and its Saved By The Bell: The New Class episode "Goodbye Bayside (Part 2)", then they both would each suffer a dangerous divorce.
