On June 14 I'm gonna turn 20! I'm so in denial about this. Turning 20! Yikes! No longer a teenager! That's so scary. Anyone have any advice?

I'm turning 20 on June 19th. I'm scared, too.

They call this the "quarter-life crisis". Fun, huh? :(

No real advice here, since I haven't been handling turning 20 too well.
I guess we can both seek comfort in the fact that we're not turning 40. :)

20? Boy thats old... 1/4 of your life is over. Glad im not turning 20. :joke: It wont be that bad.

My advice... have a fantastic birthday!!! Life only gets better as you age, with more life experience and a better understanding of things!!! Have a wonderful birthday!!! :)

Think about your favorite birthday. Even if it was when you turned 4. Think you are turning 4 again!

20 was not really a big deal. It just meant one for year till I was legal :D

be happy-you shall no longer be a teenager! hell, i'd be celebrating. no more emotional crap, mood swings..blah, blah, blah. i say, you go sky-diving or bungee jumping...or even bowling! have fun!

I'm turning 20 in August and I'll be more than happy to say "goodbye" to my teenage years. I know that being a teenager is no fun for anyone but I really had a rough time so I'm glad it's almost over!
So, on one hand I'll be glad to turn 20 but on the other hand I will be kinda depressed. Birthday's always depress me cos they are a reminder that yet another year has gone by and I have still done nothing with my life.

Anyway Liza , don't be too worried. We all have to grow up sooner or later. It's kinda funny when you think about it - when we're kids we wanna be adults yet when we're adults we only wish we were young again!

Awww! Thanks guys! Nice to know I'm not alone. I'm sure I'm gonna live through it - but it's still sad to grow up. :( My teenage years went up and down, sad to see them go. But the twenties are gonna be great! :cheers: :wave:

Wow, happy early birthday!!!!! I can't give you any advice, unfortunately, because I haven't turned 20 yet, but I'd say, don't sweat it, and just enjoy being 20!! And happy birthday, once again!!!

When I was your age I said the same thing. (Oh no. Now I'm really getting old. I said "when I was your age" *shudder*) But, as soon as I was 18 I wanted to be a minor again.
People expect you to be responsible for your own actions. :rolleyes:
Friends from High School start to move away and go to college.
You're an adult, yet you can't legally drink alcohol (outside of your own residence) or gamble.

Eh, I could give more reasons, but I'm too lazy. :)

Enjoy your youth while you can. When you're older you'll see why. Cherish every moment...
