Hi everyone, my name is James Fabiano, and I just discovered this group, as I have just discovered Gidget as it's being reran on TV Land, of course. Well, needless to say I'm in love with the show! I know she has gone on to do quite a lot, but Sally Field has never been cuter :-) Anyway, I hope I'll get to meet more of you eventually. And I was wondering...I did a search on Betty Conner, who played Gidget's sister Anne, but found very little about her outside of Gidget and a few guest spots. Did she ever go on to do anything else, and is she still with us today?

Betty Conner's character certainly has attitude problems. In one ep Anne and her husband grab Gidget and spank her (after getting Russ's ok to do so). In another ep Anne thought Gidget was working at a certain night club and when Anne found out she wasn't Anne retreated into her hubby's arms but much more so into herself as if she felt emotionally upset, even ill, about the subject. As for whether Ms. Conner is alive or whether she curled her toes up I couldn't say. I suddenly hope she's alive and well. One of my favorite Anne moments was similar, and was in Don't Defrost the Alligator, how she freaked out after she thought she was cooking the alligator instead of a casserole.
