"Masters of Sex" alum Michael Sheen has been tapped to star opposite Christine Baranski, Cush Jumbo and Rose Leslie on the upcoming third season of the CBS All Access legal drama series "The Good Fight", set to premiere in early 2019.

In a one-year deal, he will play Roland Blum, a brilliant, charismatic and Machiavellian lawyer. He is a man of appetites – drugs, sex, you name it – who’s far more interested in winning than the niceties of following the law.

Michael Sheen discusses his Roy Cohn-inspired Good Fight character, and Sarah Silverman's "The Great Christine Baranski" penis joke (https://www.vulture.com/2019/03/michael-sheen-the-good-fight-interview.html)

Sheen says of his Roland Bloom character: "There’s the Roy Cohn connection obviously, and there’s a bit of Roger Stone in terms of the flamboyance and the outrageousness." As for his ex-girlfriend Silverman's "Great Christine Baranski" penis joke, Sheen says he and Christine Baranski "definitely talked about it (while working together on The Good Fight). That was something Sarah just made up, in so much as it’s not true. It’s a joke that she made up. But poor Christine has had to be asked about that over and over again, so I feel sorry for her. I cleared that up with her fairly early on, and just said, 'Look, you know, it’s not true. Sarah made that up.' Actually, there’s a little nod to it in the first scene that we have together, which felt quite cheeky."
