Hello Out There From TV Land,

As I'm sure you know by now, we are just 8 weeks away today from January 1, 2019--not just the start of the New Year, but also when Disney's 21st Century Fox film/TV library purchase is set to be complete.

That being said, as the title implies, I have a few opinions and ideas on what and how Disney's purchase of the film and TV library of 20th Century Fox should be like--not to say any of this will happen, but regardless, my personal opinion.

Before I continue, per CNBC, the European Commission officially, today, cleared Disney's acquisition of the Fox film and TV library.

And now, without further ado, my opinion and ideas, in random order, on what Disney should do with its vast Fox film and TV library.

For starters: excluding "Star Wars" and Marvel Studios franchises e.g. "Deadpool" and "X-Men" (which shall, respectively, fold into Disney's LucasFilm, Ltd. and Marvel Studios banners), I suggest that The Walt Disney Company fold 20th Century Fox Television into Disney's ABC Studios banner.

For pre-Fall 2007 Fox TV library shows e.g. "Doogie Howser," I would have the original 20th Century Fox Television and 20th Television logos, respectively, at the end of each show Plastered with Touchstone Television.

Likewise with the MTM Enterprises catalog (folded into 20th Television in 1998), for shows like "Hill Street Blues," "St. Elsewhere" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" among MANY other MTM Enterprises programs, I'd plaster the original MTM Enterprises logo also with the Touchstone Television banner.

For episodes of Disney's Fox properties from Fall 2007 onward e.g. "Modern Family" and Tim Allen's "Last Man Standing," I'd Plaster the 20th Century Fox Television logo with the ABC Studios banner effective January 1, 2019.

It's unclear to me personally if any of this will happen, that I'm not sure of, but I'd like to see all this happen.

As for current and recent Fox titles and movies purchased by Disney e.g. "Home Alone," "Dunston Checks In" and the currently-in-theaters "Bohemian Rhapsody," the G and PG-rated films would fold and be plastered into the Walt Disney Pictures banner, while all adult-oriented PG-13 and R films such as "Bohemian Rhapsody" would likewise be bannered and plastered into the Touchstone Pictures banner effective January 1, 2019.

Does anyone here agree with me on this or have any other ideas on what may happen after Disney's purchase of the Fox film and TV library?

Please respond here.

Thanks in advance.
