Show me that smile again! This Thanksgiving, share the laughter and love with the Seaver family as Antenna TV airs the "All of Growing Pains Thanksgiving Weekend Marathon." Antenna TV, Tribune Broadcasting's multicast network, will air all 7 seasons (166 episodes) of Growing Pains on Thanksgiving weekend. The popular family sitcom that ran from 1985 to 1992 on ABC starring Alan Thicke, Kirk Cameron and later Leonardo DiCaprio, begins with season 1/episode 1 at 8pm ET on Wednesday, November 21 and runs through 8pm ET on Sunday, November 25, 2018 with the series' final episode. Antenna TV regularly airs Growing Pains weeknights 1:30am ET/10:30pm PT and Weekends 3:30pm ET/12:30pm PT.

Excellent! Growing Pains is a lot better series marathon choice than last year's All in the Family, although it wouldn't have mattered that year as I was between affiliates.

I don’t have Antenna TV.

I wish MeTV would do a Carol Burnett marathon.

Won’t be watching. That horrid credit crunch is unacceptable.

Gimme a break, the characters just seemed more real to me!!;) Growing pains and Family Ties, the families just seemed too perfect and it was boring IMO ! ;)

OH Nuts!

In the middle of watching it. Always enjoyed the show. Piggybacking on some previous posts: While I’m not thrilled with the credit crunches, they’re not a dealbreaker for me. Although it’s a pain, I can always google the info if I want it that badly.

I'd hardly call the families in Growing Pains and Family Ties too perfect or boring. Family Ties is one of my favorite 80s sitcoms, it's a classic.

I wonder what the mentality is of running a marathon of the same show for 4 days straight? If someone doesn't like the show, they've essentially lost the viewer for 4 days.

You have an excellent point. For some reason, they wanted to run through the whole series...which is great for me as I like the show. But for those who don’t, they lose viewers for quite a stretch.
