With the midterm elections fast approaching, Hollywood is pulling out all the stops to make sure their get out the vote message is heard. On CBS’s Murphy Brown (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/75551-s11e06-results-may-vary/?do=getLastComment) the usual tropes are brought forward from the long-suffering liberals anchoring the "Murphy in the Morning" show. This show is so leftist that they think the Democrats are "weenies" who won't fight back against Republicans.

The new Murphy Brown is awful. I've stopped watching it. I don't mind politics in my sitcoms, but come on, this show is far more political than a sitcom usually is. I hope it's cancelled after this season.

The reboot is nothing like the original. The original was witty and funny without relying so heavily on politics. This new version is nothing but political jibber jabber.

It doesn't even feel like it's even in 2018. It feels like it's creating a false image of a worse time in America, and failing miserably at it. The original Murphy Brown was so much better.
