"Casting is now underway for The Long Night, the first of the Game of Thrones successor series to ordered to film," Martin wrote on his blog (http://georgerrmartin.com/notablog/2018/10/30/long-night-casting/) in confirming Naomi Watts' casting. HBO has yet to reveal an official title for the pilot, but Martin wrote in his blog (https://tvline.com/2018/06/11/game-of-thrones-prequel-title-george-r-r-martin-spinoff-the-long-night/) in June that he'd prefer the pilot be called "The Long Night."
