I'm just curious if anyone knows...

Why is Georgia Engel's voice so high and faint? I mean, it almost seems like her voice never went through puberty. It's so soft and child-like, even though she is well-past that time. I didn't know if it was from an accident as a child, some hereditary thing, or what.

Also... didn't she do the voice of Sally, Charlie Brown's sister, in some of the TV specials??

Well, some people just have higher, softer voices...I know not a whole lot, but some. Also, maybe she exaggerates it for her roles, kind of like a trademark?

Maybe she doesn't, and I hope not, cause I think it's kinda sweet that her voice is like that---and it adds a special touch of humor to some of her lines. :)

All I know is that that is how Georgia Engel really talks like. Her voice and personality in real life(from what little I've seen) seems to be almost exactly like Georgette. In fact in an interview Ed Asner said it was really kind of creepy in filming because you could never tell if it was Georgia or Georgette talking when she would say something.

And she didn't do the voice of Sally on Charlie Brown. It was some little boy I think.
