Did you receive DVD-Rs or pressed DVDs. Strangely, this time around I received DVD-Rs. For the first 2 seasons, I received pressed DVDs. Is this a new decision for Warner Archive? :confused:

That's very interesting! I ordered from WB Shop and received DVD-r discs. I also just bought a bunch of shows from WB Shop during their sale. Only 1 set was pressed discs. I wonder if they are doing less and less of the pressed discs with each new release.

I received my season 5 of “Perfect Strangers” today that I ordered when they had their big sale a few days ago. It’s pressed discs.

Yeah, I ordered season 7 of Alice, season 5 of Perfect Strangers and season 2 of Step by Step in that sale and they're all pressed discs. So I guess I'll keep buying from them.

I started season 3 today which is the first time that I have ever watched it.The apartment Dana moves into is a lot like the one in The Psychic from the end of season 2.

At 13m 56s as Frank and his kids leave the house the picture is very poor and looks like someone zoomed into it by 50%.

In Way-Off Broadway at 16m31s Frank mentions that he hates Carols mother. Perhaps that is how she ended up not working at the beauty salon anymore. :lol:

Cody is starting to grate a little. Too many 'dudes' and too much laughing to himself.

Is it me or is Carol and Franks bedroom just a tad ugly?

Nice scene at the end of Hog Tied with Carol and Frank arguing about anniversary gifts and Branden producing a card. Sweet.

The episode Sister Act had a real nice scene with Dana and Karen that added some much needed depth to Karen. In it, both sisters admitted how much they envied the other sister.

The season 3 Christmas episode looks to be entirely zoomed in on the season 3 set. Some of the close ups looked to be very close so I compared it to the version on the TV Favs set and I was amazed to see how much was cropped from all sides of the picture. Also, the Christmas scenes of the house from the location shots are also different.

Polished off season 3 today so time to give the show a rest as I think I watched about 6 episodes today.

Look at the far right of the screen in Feeling Forty at 6m7s into the episode and you can see the edge of the set. You can also clearly see 'Dana's Apartment' written on the wood. The set was originally the apartment of the psychic in season 2 and Dana's apartment at the start of season 3.
