Why are they trying to ruin the original show?

 The same person who plays Mr. Drummond plays Jo on FOL, Arnold is played by a girl, she also plays Tootie, and Kimberly is played by the same person as Blair.

I don't even really know what to think really. And look at "Arnold", look at the legs. It really looks odd.

Actully when I look again, that persons on her knees. I wonder if she's gonna be like that the whole show or something.

If you haven't already noticed from the picture, it looks like they copied arnold's body and then just stuck a different actor's head on there.. If not, then that is really disturbing... Notice the arms.... They look way too long to fit on that body.. I agree with Jethro.. Why are they trying to ruin the original show?

Well, that looks kind of odd but whatever floats your boat....I guess....

Arnold is just on his knees Id say. And I'm guessing they remaking "The Rivals" since Lurleen is a character and she was only in one episode...

I do not think that this is funny at all. The actors playing them are horrible and they don't look anything like the real characters.

I don't know about that blairocks... i think the guy playing mr. drummond looks a little similar to the mr. drummond of DS.. that's the only character that looks kind of like an original cast member though.. whoever thought that that girl looks like kimberly has something wrong with them

Garys gonna hit the roof over this, he probably thinks "WHY CANT PEOPLE LET THIS SHOW GO! I REGRET EVER DOING IT!" but thats that, the past will never go away.

Why is people getting mad over this?! I mean you probably NEVER saw the actors in action so you can't call them bad actors. And the show is supposed to be a comedy show! It's not supposed to be complete replicas of the actual show. I mean it'd be really stupid if they found people who looked JUST LIKE the original people. I mean we can watch the actual rerun if we want that. I think you people just need to chill. Why is it disturbing? It's not disturbing. I mean you people are acting like they are spoofing god! IT IS NOT LIKE THEY ARE MAKING A MAN PLAY MOTHER THERESA!!!!! Especially with FOL. Our one and only chance to see FOL again without having to worry about a tape! I think it's really an honor that they picked FOL. Of all the tons of shows out there they coulda done, they picked FOL and DS to start the whole thing. You people are overreacting. I'm definantly buying a couple of tapes to record it. Gosh.........next thing you know you are gonna say that it's disturbing because it's only 15 minutes long!

I don't think that anyone is really acting mad over it, some people inclding me don't see the point in re-shooting it with a new cast.

Did anyone actually say it's disturbing?

A couple of points. First who in the hell is Lareen? I don't remember that character. Is she the one who beat the Goach? Also the girl playing Kimberly looks to young. Kimberly was a teenager. Not a 10 year old. The two actors playing Arnold and Wilis weren't they in the tv movie "The Jacksons: An American Dream". If so they are playing Jacksons again.

Carmella was the character who beet up the Gooch.
Lirleen appeared in one episode, "The Rivals" were she played a girl who went out with Arnold to try and get closer to Willis.

This is the first time I've read this thread. I'm sure this spoof is going to be funny but...........I just hope they don't over do it and you know, make fun of the cast's troubles. But I really don't understand why they are doing this. I'm not all that upset but can't people come up with new and better ideas?!? It was kind of funny when the Brady Bunch movies came out and it was something new and fresh but, it's getting a bit old when all people can think of is redoing classic sitcoms and making fun of it.

I hadn't thought of that before....I hope they don't do that either. I don't mind them doing a parody of DS, but it would be crossing the border if they made fun of the cast's troubles. Just my 2 cents....

They aren't parodying it. They are using the exact same script as the original "Rivals" episode. Other than redoing the script, I don't think they can really fit inside jokes like teasing the cast's troubles would fit in. I don't think they are making fun of it. They are just probably a couple of guys and girls who like older shows and would like to live some of their favorite episodes, I mean wouldn't you like to be the one to tell Lurleen off? Or to steal a dress for Mrs. G? I know I'd steal a dress for her!
