Netflix dropped the first half of Season 5 last May amid controversy over Jeffrey Tambor's on-set behavior towards co-star Jessica Walter and a disastrous New York Times interview (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/23/arts/television/arrested-development-netflix-interview-jeffrey-tambor.html) with Walter and the male cast members. Cross said this week on the Late Night with Seth Meyers Podcast that “at the beginning of the new year they’ll show the next eight (from Season 5), as I understand it," but he doubts there will be another season. “I’ve learned to say ‘never say never,’ but I can’t see it happening again, I think for a number of reasons,” said Cross.
