Paramount Network on Thursday began burning off its controversial series over the course of five nights. "But it wasn't worth salvaging what remains a repugnant, mean-spirited attempt at satire that uses smug wokeness as a hall pass to play into every offensive stereotype imaginable," says Patrick Ryan. Times change and you can't keep the 3 Heathers in the movie the same for the series.

Heathers episodes pulled following Pittsburgh synagogue shooting (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/heathers-episodes-pulled-wake-pittsburgh-shooting-1155958)

The two episodes that were scheduled to air Sunday night involved active shooter training. But Paramount Network opted to pull the episodes after 11 people were shot and killed Saturday morning at a Pittsburgh synagogue. After initially pulling Heathers (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/67001-heathers-all-episode-talk/?do=getLastComment) in February in wake of the Parkland school shooting, Paramount Network ultimately decided to burn off the entire season by airing two episodes a night from Thursday night through tonight. The series finale, which was edited to remove sensitive storylines, will air tonight as planned.
