View Full Version : A rare 'thumbs up' for TNN?!
Smokin' Sods 06-04-2002, 04:56 AM Well, according to the upcoming episodes listed on this site, TNN is actually going to show some of the more in-demand episodes that so many DS fans have longed for, such as: Sam's Missing, The Front Page (the very last ep -- about steroids), Arnold's Bad Rep, and Bulimia -- just to name a few! This is definitely good news and let's hope TNN doesn't make any slick and sudden last-minute changes! Many of us have been very critical of Viacom in the past, but if they come through with all these eps, I will be a very happy camper!
Brad Russ 06-04-2002, 05:12 AM That is really cool to hear. Who knows maybe when TNN is done with this first run of the show, they'll play all the episodes they skipped in the first run. I sure hope they do.
vienna waits 06-04-2002, 09:38 AM Lets not jinx it though!!
Czas na Zywiec 06-04-2002, 10:19 AM Hey, they're playing the one about where Willis dates that undercover narcatic cop. Was this one of the episoeds that N@N wouldn't show? If it is, I Love TNN! If only we can get them to play FOL. But at least TNN is better than N@N!

N@N never made it past season four in the regular rotation of the show. They did show some episodes past season four though in marathons.
vienna waits 06-04-2002, 11:11 AM I thought that episode was kind of wierd. Were these "narcs" a big thing of the 80s or something? If someone came up to me and said something about a narc I'd be like what?
vienna waits 06-04-2002, 11:12 AM I cant wait until Sam's New Deal airs next week.. funny episode!!
Pavan 06-04-2002, 01:09 PM Undercover Lover is available to download at diffrentstrokes.com as well as a few others from that season.

Well, yea drugs were a big problem in the 80's, so I guess the show wanted to send out the message that the dangers are out there, and to be careful, not to show kids that drugs are cool until your caught. That's bull. This show delivers a good message and it's a shame that out TV networks would block it out from today's audiences.
Mr. Shy Guy 06-04-2002, 08:22 PM And they are gonna start over again too. Hopefully they'll make it through the schedule again cause I didn't record some episodes.
Chelsea 06-07-2002, 10:36 AM What amazes me is how much better TNN is than it's counterpart, N@N, despite being owned by the same people. On N@N, you get Cheers, Cosby, AITF, and Family Ties (With One Hour of Three's Company at real late night). Whereas on TNN, you get DS (They're showing all the eps N@N never did), Three's Comapny (during the day, as opposed to the aforementioned late late night), ans shows *I* personally like like Star Trek TNG and American Gladiators.
Two Thumbs up for TNN!
Can anyone tell me exactly when Bulimia will air? Thanks! in advance!
