I remember this episode of "The E! True Hollywood Story"! I actually recorded it on my VCR back in 2001 or 2002 (I can't remember the exact date)...sadly, my recording got erased many years ago, but I'm not bitter because the episode's been uploaded to YouTube for posterity.

All in all, it was a pretty decent episode...I enjoyed the testimonials from Ralph Carter, Ja'Net DuBois, Johnny Brown, Bea Arthur, Eric Monte, Gerren Keith, Allan Manings, Judi Ann Mason, Austin and Irma Kalish, Bill Duke, and Todd Boyd, which were interspersed with archival interviews from John Amos, Esther Rolle, BernNadette Stanis, and Jimmie Walker.

Sadly, there was no mention whatsoever of Ben Powers, while Moses Gunn and Janet Jackson each received minor footnotes. And Eric Monte's behind-the-scenes feud with Norman Lear wasn't discussed at all.
