“I took the battery out of my father’s car.”
“I drained a quart of oil out of my father’s car.”
“I took the fan belt out of my father’s car.”
“I’ll drain a gallon of gas out of my father’s car.”

OK I was leaving this for someone else. But since no one answered, I'll try:
The battery line was Eddie's.
The gas line was Lumpy's, that Fred heard. So was the oil line, probably, but I don't remember it.
I don't remember the fan belt, so I'll guess that. If it's not that, it's the oil.
Something tells me I have this all wrong!

That's the line.....and correct as to who said what. In the one when Eddie is working at Mr. Thompson's garage Lumpy and Wally are going down to see if they can get a used fan belt maybe. Wally says gee the engine sounds good. Lumpy says he drained a quart of oil out of his father's car.
