I don't have the complete set yet, but I have about 75 episodes so far, if your interested in them, let me know. Excellent VHS tapes, excellent footage, $10 per tape, 17 episodes each, no commercials. TBS, and TV Land broadcasts. If you get more than 1 tape, never the same episodes. No different seasons on the same tape either.

I am so sorry you got ripped off by this person. Was his name Dwayne? He had another screen name on the boards and bad mouthed me when I called him on ripping people off.

His name is Wayne or Dwayne. He uses different names but his e-mail is DWG4@planttel, I've also found a yahoo e-mail that I'm still confirming to be his. If I can get a true confirmation I will let yahoo know and maybe they will toss him. Some of the moderators are closing the threads that he advertises on. This is good because then he can't get to anyone else. I'm surprised that he bad mouthed you, he hasn't responded to me yet. I really don't like cheaters....Check out tape trading for his other names.

He has made his away on a bunch of boards. Jenn, if I were you- I would file some kind of mail fraud. This guy has ripped so many people off, and I'm not sure what kind of actions they took against him if they took any at all.

TJ or any of the other moderators: I think it would be a good idea if you formed some kind of feedback forum (kind of like ebay's) on the tape trading board and prevent any other tape trading threads from getting on any of the other boards.

On another message board i was on the moderator could just ban the ip range of people who were abusing other people. So couldnt tj just ban his ip range so he can't post from his computer

I'm not sure if you visit the Andy Griffith Show board, but a member on the board (Thelma Lou) has posted some info about Dwayne. Can you visit that board and see if its the same information that he gave you?

Has TJ emailed you a reply about the feedback forum yet? I think it could work if you look at it in a certain manner. Maybe we can brainstorm on this thread.

I think TJ should remove the thread on the boards that deals with tape trading, and just allow all tape transactions to be on the Tape Trading board.

The forum should def. be a sticky thread and have a subject like "Read before doing any transactions on this thread" or something like that.

Then the page could be set up like this.

Seller Name/Buyer Name/Item Description/Grading the transaction (both the buyer and seller should post grades and the above)/What did you NOT like about the transaction?/Other Comments

Something like that. It shouldn't be fancy schmancy or anything. Oh yes, if you get an X amount of bad feedbacks you could have a few punishments.

Let's say 1 or 2 bad feedbacks: Warning

Let's say 3 or 4 bad feedbacks: Temporary ban

Let's say 5 or 6 bad feedbacks: Permanent ban

Maybe TJ could also post the consequences for mail fraud and wire fraud on the thread to help limit the amount of bad sellers.

I just thought of something else too. Maybe have a search option too. Like if I wanted to look up all feedback for the seller $JohnSmith$, I could find all the feedbacks in a lump sum instead of searching through a bunch of pages.

Also the quote function could be handy. I'll take the $JohnSmith$ example again. Let's say someone else already posted feedback for John, I could quote that person and put mine underneath the quote.

This is just a sketch plan. I'm not sure if its a good plan. I do believe its a good idea, because I feel so bad for all the people that do pay a bunch of money and get zip in return from the seller.
