I know the complete series of this show is now available on DVD, but I wonder if Rowan & Martin's Laugh In would be a good fit for Antenna TV. I figure they could air it on the weekends, Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 PM Eastern time right before Johnny Carson. I think Laugh In might be a good lead in show on the weekends for the 90 minute Carson shows. It's an interesting idea anyway.

Laugh In is already on Decades. Don't know if it would work out well though. Antenna TV hasn't really showed any sketch comedy shows since Benny Hill back in 2011. Would be nice to see the genre come back to the channel.

I agree with the above, Weigel (MeTV) has the rights to Laugh In so it would be unavailable to Antenna right now.

Maybe Antenna could pick it up if Decades/MeTV drops or loses the rights.
Does Decades air Laugh In uncut, or are the shows edited? I do have the DVD's and as far as I know each show is uncut, at least I'm not aware of any edits on the DVD's.

Decades' Laugh In episodes may have edits, or not. I watched one and it had the original NBC logo from the time, so I don't know whether that is any indication. The DVDs of Laugh In are totally uncut with full musical performances according to reviews. So nothing to worry about there.

Yes I enjoy the musical performances with the cast of the show, those are usually pretty good.
Show #6 of season 2 has a funny gag at the beginning, Rowan & Martin are furniture movers and they are moving furniture for a lady, played by Ruth Buzzi. They are about to move a wooden table out from the kitchen, and as they pick up the table, Ruth Buzzi asks them to remove the legs of the table first before they move it. Rowan says: "Remove the legs? OK". They then proceed to kick the legs off the table and the legs fall to the floor. As they walk out of the kitchen carrying the top part of the table, Rowan says: "You wanna save those legs, lady?" Ruth Buzzi looks at them in shock and disbelief. LOL, it is crazy but so funny.

An interesting idea would be Antenna TV getting Chico and the Man and It's a Living. Both those shows haven't been re-ran in syndication in forever. I hope they eventually pick those up.

I really wonder if these rights things are that important anymore. In The Heat Of The Night is on This TV and now also on MeTV. I Dream of Jeannie is in local syndication (and is on locally, here) and also on the Antenna TV affiliate. Same with MASH. It may be OK with the syndicator (at least sometimes) as long they put them on at different times.

I previously mentioned in another thread that Antenna TV should acquire Chico And The Man.
It's A Living isn't to my liking but maybe Antenna TV can acquire it one day for those who want to see it.
As Arte Johnson would say, Antenna TV acquiring Laugh In would be "verrrry interesting".
