There were several times I laughed like when Lisa thanked Bart for not ruining her song, and he said he didn't have to because she already did. It's not the first time the show has poked fun or whatever of Christianity, but I won't hold that against the writers, and another funny part was when Bart was being called into the principal's office to see Homer, and the kids teased him for having a dad, and he said he did not. I was hoping for a prank phone call to Moe's, but that never happened. I hope they have one planned.

I watched some of this ep after watching the Clowns lose to the Raiders...my brother changed the station once it showed that Bart saw Jesus...The Simpsons are trying to be as shocking as Family Guy or South Park...this is NOT Matt Groeining's show anymore...it really hasn't been in years!

Well I know they've done things like one of the Simpsons seeing Jesus in the past, so I didn't see that as anything new. I came well prepared for stupid ball to preempt episodes by setting it up so that when I DVR, it stops recording an hour after the show ends. Whether Matt Groening is in charge of the show or not, it can cause me to launch hysterically sometimes. It's almost like Star Trek. Gene Roddenberry died a long time ago; but we still get movies, spin-offs, and books.

I'm sure he's still cashing the checks.
