Damilare Sonoiki, 27, pleaded guilty last week (http://www2.philly.com/philly/news/crime/damilare-sonoiki-mychal-kendricks-pleads-guilty-insider-trading-blackish-mychal-kendricks-philadelphia-eagles-cleveland-browns-20180919.html) to security fraud after he was caught feeding insider trading tips to NFL player Mychal Kendricks. The guilty plea ended a meteoric rise for Sonoiki, a Nigerian immigrant who attended Harvard, then worked at Goldman Sachs, and followed that up with stints in the writers' rooms of Black-ish (https://medium.com/black-media-minute/inside-the-black-ish-writers-room-with-damilare-sonoiki-transcript-3c80c0e59a) and, until recently, The Simpsons. The Wall Street Journal that Sonoiki didn't actually graduate from Harvard because his degree was withheld due to multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, including rape. Sonoiki never faced criminal charges, and in a statement he “denies that he has engaged in any sexual misconduct.”
