Supposedly I only had one class and would finish. At this point I want to get the degree after spending two years.

I'm reporting him to the campus police. He filed a complaint against me because I told him off, and I told him off because he has been harassing me since March. He calls me names and belittles me in front of other students. I've heard stories about him before. He's trying to have me expelled two weeks before finishing because he's mad I don't want to work in low income parts of Chicago that are high crime.

While I think there’s more to the story than we know what’s going on, I admire IllinoisTVFan’s standing up to SJW college faculty. She’s tough and she’s not backing down from a fight, and I admire that.

An update: I filed a police report against him for this. The cop said this was worse than what I did because it was actual touching.

I'm hoping you can get this resolved quickly. Anyway to switch the class for another instructor? Did you get hurt? You probably need legal counsel. Make sure you are daily documenting every encounter and verbal exchange, along with witnesses present! Avoid being alone with this person.

If I get expelled I will sue and will also sue for discrimination. I'm having a hearing and I will make sure I report everything. Today I went to HR and the school cops and wrote it all down. The told me I could have him arrested for that so we'll see. If the suspension is lifted then I am hoping to switch my internship (which is 7 days away from finishing) to the head of the program and never have to deal with him again. Luckily I have almost three months to finish those 7 days but hopefully I will hear soon.

Thank you for those wise words. Yeah I'm not sure working in bad areas makes one bad when those people are majority bad. Hopefully the professor at least will be suspended but I know how these things work where he'll likely face no consequences and I'll be suspended a long time or expelled. Professors seem to get away with things. I just want to be able to finish my degree and never deal with him again. I am 7 days away from finishing, I just want to do that. I am also doing an online teaching certificate but that is completely online, AND I was just chosen to join the honor society for that. I'm a 4.0 student who has a ton of society accomplishments. I'm trying to be strong but it is so hard not knowing. They told me it was likely because I am so close to finishing and have no other problems that I will likely be able to return, especially since I didn't hit anyone.

I'm sure he does but he is also close to retiring. I've heard he may retire this December or next year sometime (he is 70, almost 71).

I started to leave and he continued and another student then bashed me for not wanting to work in bad areas and that makes me a racist. I said I'm not racist but then he called me a racist, and then fat b---. I was walking towards him to confront him and my professor pushed me. He then called me names and I was leaving and I blurted out something like "I hope you die". I shouldn't have but I did.

While it’s good you’re tough, it sounds like you’re becoming a classroom distraction. I’m afraid to say it but this sounds like an unpleasant situation for everybody in that class and it’s escalated to a point it’s no longer just about him and you. Walk away. Move on to something else.

Well I am 55 hours away from finishing, which is 1 1/2 weeks. What I am going to suggest is that my internship be turned over to the head of the program, or her and my professor. That way I can avoid him alone, and finish my internship. I am hoping this is what happens.

Thanks. I consider myself economically very liberal and more Conservative socially, so you are correct in that I probably wouldn’t get along with your classmates as I am not an SJW.

A lot of SJWs are in fact fiscally conservative, so I don’t get along with those types at all. It’s one thing to say you support equal rights for women, but if you don’t support paying them a living wage(as everyone else should get) can you really say you support women?

Agreed, politics belong over there. But yeah me being somewhat conservative (yeah I know some here are laughing about that) has made it difficult to become actual friends with most of my classmates. I have one classmate I did talk to on FB and email but she's mostly been avoiding me lately because she doesn't know what to say (she told me this). Most of my classes were online so I didn't meet most until the internship.
