In the late-80's, most cartoons were getting better. But when DuckTales, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? came-out...did other cartoon studios follow suit on having cartoons that we'll remember?

That time really helped and everything got better.

The Disney Renaissance definitely changed animation for the better, breathing new life into the medium.

It also changed animation for the worse, pushing more commercialism into the equation.

I feel it started in 1997...things got more corporate and later would be the norm...it also didn't help that E/I started by then!
