Last night I was at Paul Simon's farewell show at Madison Square Garden.

Paul was in fine form, amazing for his age (77). He no doubt had the best time of all, getting very emotion while singing some of his oldies.
37 years ago to the day, I went to my first big concert, Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park in 1981.

It's been a pretty good year for concerts. I've seen John Fogerty, ZZ Top, Gordon Lightfoot and Don McLean.
Last year was even better. Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, Journey, and of course, Sir Paul McCartney topping it off.
