Has there been any updates with this case?

I remember reading (possibly on here) that they have had a suspect in mind for years, but they can't legally make an arrest because there isn't enough concrete evidence to bring him in?

Here is a thread from the boards with some updates/over the years. There is a one time poster that gave an update and gave a suspect name as well. It falls in line with what you mentioned. Rachael has been brought up in several threads as this is one of the worst cases ever featured.

Its a very strange case, the music they run in the background still gives me chills. I just-re watched an airing of the Stack Segment. Its only a 3 minute segment, but it for sure is one of the strangest. With the police asking for a copy of the snuff film. This was right around the time of the night stalker- so the 666/santanic thing has to be some red herring. With all the DNA testing available, you would think this case could/would be solved. I am assuming since they did recover the body, and they mentioned her being sexually assaulted in a video- they would know if that was true or not.
