The recent discovery of what may be large amounts of water on Mars opens new possibilites of space exploration now and in the immediate decades. Water could be made available for drinking and could be converted to rocket fuel to be used for the return trip home and for making other exploratory trips around the planet. The water discovery is also strong evidence that life does or at some time did exist on Mars. Mars may have once been very much like Earth. Maybe some of us have Martian ancestors.

Cool!:cool: That would be awesome if there ever was any life on Mars. Hey, and who knows, maybe there is some life on Mars, but is inside the planet kind of like the hollow earth theory. Yeah, okay I have crazy theorys, but anything's possible, right?:) :p

That sounds kind of cool. I bet life did exist on Mars sometime or another. I always pictured Martians as looking human-like. I don't think they would be green or anything. It would be kind of odd if they did find life on Mars today or tomorrow. Hmm... I think I'm getting a story idea.

Yes I believe there was once life on Mars, Who knows maybe there still is, IM sure if we found that there was, NASA and the government would keep it a secret.

Yeah, they probably would keep it a secret from the public. The incident in Roswell in 1947 still has not been completely publicized. I bet there are many things we don't know about possible life on Mars and about the 1947 Roswell incident. I find it hard to believe how the government could keep a secret from the public for 55 years, though.
