It definitely was.

The word is said in "Take My Finals, Please (http://factsoflifeshow.tripod.com/finals_please.html)" (Season 4), "The Source (http://factsoflifeshow.tripod.com/the_source.html)" (Season 4), and many, many other episodes. I also remember Blair calling Nancy a "simp" (a simpleton) in Season 1.
