Two Saturdays ago, we went to Milan, Ohio for the Melon Festival and we only saw 30-40 cars and usually there's 100+ cars there.
Are the classic car shows on their way out or was it because they had it earlier?

They are still popular where I live.
Maybe the generally good weather helps. Also, most people out here have their own cars so they can driver anywhere.
Grandville had a blueberry festival that has a classic car show and this year the festival seemed busier and there was a lot more cars. I was also asked the dumbest question ever there. I bought a piece of blueberry pie and they ask me if I wanted whipped cream with it. Um....yes! that shouldn't even be a question.

Hmm...well that car show in Milan started at 9 a.m. and there was a Buckeyes game that day...if I go there next year, I'll see if it's in decline or maybe they don't have a sponsor.

Were the 30-40 cars the visitors cars to the festival or were the 30-40 the older vintage cars that were driven the area.?

30-40 vintage cars. There were probably more people than that...
