A lot of game show fans know that Lingo was one of GSN's most popular shows on their lineup but what game show fans don't realize is GSN's Lingo was actually a remake of a syndicated game show that aired in 1987. First hosted by Ralph Andrews the 1987 original Lingo game show was played the exact same way as GSN's Lingo was played. Ralph Andrews was replaced by Michael Reagan who is former president Ronald Reagan's son and was produced by Ralph Edwards/Stu Billett Productions who produces The People's Court.
