How often did Sue Ann wear a sweater over her shoulders? Anyone know, off the top of your head?

Oo, this is a fun game (I'm looking at is a game anyway, )

Off the top of my head, hmmmm...I would venture to say...

Twice.

I know she did in Sex Education and one other in season 1. Maybe Molly's Holiday?

I know she did in Sex Education

Whoa, you're right; I just looked it up, and I didn't remember a sweater in that at all.

Maybe Molly's Holiday?

Yup she did; I can vividly see her leaning on that chair near the front door, sweater draped around her, when she was the phantom 4th in a group once again, as in "Dope" (Blair, Natalie, Tootie, Sue Ann). Although it is neat here to see a quintet, as Molly is a 5th girl (but hate how Cindy is absent for most of the episode).

So, I just checked every episode Sue Ann was ever in.

The first episode I can confirm that Sue Ann wore her sweater over her shoulders was episode 1-07, "Dieting". Sue Ann then wore her sweater over her shoulders in episode 1-08, "The Facts of Love".

Following this episode was 1-10, "Adoption", but it was Cindy, not Sue Ann, who wore her sweater over her shoulders in that episode. DOH! This was followed by episode 1-11, "Running". But although Sue Ann wore a garment over her shoulders, it was her Eastland sweatshirt, not actually a sweater.

The next episode that Sue Ann wore her sweater over her shoulders was in episode 1-12, "Molly's Holiday". Finally, Sue Ann wore her sweater over her shoulders in episode 1-13, "Dope".

Sue Ann also wore sweaters on other occasions, but never just over her shoulders, as far as I have been able to tell.

So the answer is.... *tabulates totals*... FOUR!

Interesting...and more than I thought!

And, it looks like the same sweater is with the same shirt the first three times; as if the sweater is somehow permanently sewn to the shirt.

Haha! That would be... weird. Who would do that?!

Anyway, I'm not 100% sure, but do think the first image may show a different plaid shirt. Although it has a brown tartan, it doesn't appear to have the blue.

Hmm, interesting...this should require some DVD pausing and zooming.

Is it a sweater or is it a scarf?

I know it's at least sometimes a sweater; I wanna say in "Molly's Holiday" it's a sweater, for sure.

Alright Lorimar, Miss Mahoney is gonna have to ask you to stay after class again. You need to write "I will not doubt RetroGuy2000's sweater observations" on the chalk board 1,000 times.

Haha!

Sue Ann does wear a scarf in "The Little Chill", part of the "little number [she] picked up at Bergdorf's." If indeed it was actually Bergdorf's; she wasn't exactly honest in that episode. The scarf alone would have been very expensive. A similar scarf at Bergdorf's (https://www.bergdorfgoodman.com/Mignonne-Gavigan-Le-Charlot-Beaded-Scarf-Necklace-Nude/prod129970226/p.prod?ecid=BGCS__GooglePLA&utm_source=google_shopping&adpos=1o1&scid=scplpsku103120994&sc_intid=sku103120994&gclid=CjwKCAjwlejcBRAdEiwAAbj6KaOwRFppDZPh9pnnCESaVeE1f55v0RK_bY0ebtBioKngqlcSovVWSxoCClwQAvD_BwE) would cost $425.00. Other scarves would cost up to $1650.00 (https://www.bergdorfgoodman.com/Loro-Piana-Luci-Al-Lake-Palace-Cashmere-Silk-Scarf/prod126820069___/p.prod?icid=&searchType=MAIN&rte=%252Fcategory.service%253FNtt%253Dscarf%2526pageSize%253D30%2526No%253D450%2526Ns%253DMAX_PROMO_PRICE%2526refinements%253D&eItemId=prod126820069&cmCat=search)!

Even adjusting for inflation, Sue Ann must have spent a small fortune on that outfit, if it really was from Bergdorf Goodman's.

Haha I thought it was a sweater but the screenshots had me second guess. Its probably more obvious when its on video and not a still

I suppose I could have tried to get screenshots from the side, but that would be a lot of work.

Really? Well, then, I'm glad I reminded you! With Sue Ann wearing a sweater (or sweatshirt) around her shoulders in five episodes out of eighteen, it was clearly a style she liked. Having it immortalized in Clue™: the Eastland® Editions just makes sense!
