In lieu of the passing of Burt Reynolds today I though it was be fun to look at some of his ties to 3's Comp.

The most obvious is the 1970 episode of Dan August "Quadrangle for Death" were he, Co-star Norman Fell and John Ritter appeared. One scene showed all 3 in the same screen shot.

Reynolds long time girlfriend Loni Anderson was a guest on "Coffee, Tea, or Jack " from 1978.

Finally Audra Lindley appeared with Reynolds in 1982 movie "Best Friends".

Anyone have other examples ?

RIP Paul Crewe

References to him on the show:

In "The Matchbreakers" Furley said the laundry lost his Burt Reynolds shirt.

In "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow" Jack and Larry get fake mustaches to attract women, citing Reynolds and Tom Selleck as inspiration.

In the TC spinoff Three's A Crowd a celeb lookalike played Burt Reynolds as a Jack's Bistro customer in ep "King for a Day," and when Jack served him his food he said, "Special deliverance!"

Also, Ann Wedgeworth (who played Lana in season 4) starred with Reynolds in Evening Shade.
