View Full Version : What if Home Improvement met "Sesame Street"?
Just like the thread over on The Facts Of Life board created by '80sSitcoms, I decided to make one of my very own.
What would it be like if the cast of Home Improvement were on their way back to California after a family vacation somewhere other than their state, had to make an emergency plane landing because something bad happened with their plane, and they ended up in New York where Sesame Street is? What if they had to spend the day hanging around this very famous street inhabited by so many loved characters? What kind of Home Improvement/Sesame Street interactions would there be?
What kind of interactions/pairings/moments do you think would be fun to see?
I can picture Big Bird's rollerskates or his teddy bear Radar being broken. Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor would come over to fix either one of them for him, while one of the boys would calm Big Bird down.
Big Bird and the broken rollerskates
We know that Big Bird really loves his rollerskates, but what would the reaction be if he couldn't use them for a long time and had to be really patient? It would be good if he could be paired up with Mark.
Something that came to mind is Big Bird would be seen skating like normal, but then he had a really nasty fall and his skates would be broken.
Big Bird (singing): La la la la la! Oh hi! I really love rollerskating, don't you? I sure do!
He is then seen skating for a few minutes, then falls down.
Big Bird: Ow! Luis! Maria! Come help! I fell down and my rollerskates might be broken.
Big Bird moans, muttering for either Luis or Maria to come over. Mark then comes over to Big Bird.
Big Bird: You're not Maria or Luis. Who are you?
Mark: Hello!
Mark: I'm Mark. What's your name?
Big Bird: Oh hi. My name is Big Bird. It's nice to meet you Mark.
Mark: You too Big Bird. What's the matter?
Big Bird: Well, I was rollerskating and took a really big fall. My rollerskates ended up hitting the floor, so they broke.
Mark: Let me help you up onto a chair and I'll see if I can get my dad to fix those for you.
Big Bird: But you're so small, and I'm big.
Mark: That's okay. Here, take my hand and I'll sit you right down.
Mark then sits Big Bird down in a chair.
Mark: There you go. Let me get my dad real quick.
Tim Taylor is then seen talking to Big Bird, while Mark talks to his mom Jill.
Tim: Sorry about your rollerskates Big Bird. I have to deal with a lot of that kind of broken stuff when working with tools.
Big Bird: You work with tools?
Tim: Yes I do. And a lot of times, there is something called accidents.
RetroGuy2000 09-04-2018, 10:23 PM How old would the boys be, at the time this crossover was made?
How old would the boys be, at the time this crossover was made?
The first three (Big Bird and the rollerskates, Big Bird meets Brad, along with Big Bird meets some new friends) would be from 1991 when Mark was 6 or 7. Randy is around 9-10 years old and Brad is also around 9-10 years old.
After the Herry and Wilson one will be Brad and Hoots The Owl which would be from 1993, so Brad will probably be around either 12 to 13 years old.
Big Bird and the rollerskates (Continued)
Big Bird: Oh I've had plenty of accidents before, believe me. But I learned that everybody makes mistakes, and it's not just me you know.
Tim Taylor: And it's okay to make mistakes Big Bird, that's how we all are in life. Now let me have your rollerskates and I'll take them to the Fix It Shop so they can be fixed.
Big Bird: But Maria and Luis run the Fix It Shop, not you.
Tim Taylor: I'm great friends with both of them, so they asked me and my wife to run the store while they are away in Puerto Rico and New Mexico visiting friends along with family.
Big Bird: I thought you worked with just tools.
Tim: I do, but there's other stuff that I fix as well.
Big Bird hands Tim his rollerskates over
Tim: Now Big Bird, it's going to be a long time until you can use your rollerskates again. So why don't you come inside and meet my other boys along with Jill?
Big Bird: But I want to skate again!
Tim: But Big Bird, look at your nasty fall. You got hurt really badly.
Big Bird turns to Tim with an upset look on his face
Tim: Don't be upset Big Bird and try not to cry, because everything is going to be alright.
Big Bird: You're right. Everything will be A-Okay.
Tim holds Big Bird's hand and walks into the house
Big Bird meets some new friends
Big Bird sits in the chair while Tim goes and gets ice for him. Jill is then seen walking up to Big Bird.
Jill: You must be Big Bird!
Big Bird: That's my name! You must be Jill, Tim's husband.
Jill: Yes, that's him. You met Mark who is my youngest son, right?
Big Bird: I did, he was very nice.
Jill: You know, I have two older sons who are here somewhere around the house and they might want to meet you.
Jill calls out to Brad
Jill: Brad! There's someone here who you should meet!
Brad: I'm busy doing my homework right now, I'll do it later.
Jill: That's Brad. He likes to do his homework before he does anything else. It looks like Randy isn't busy, so I'll bring him out here and you can meet Brad some other time. Let me get your ice.
Jill later comes out with ice along with Randy, who is seen wearing a baseball cap
Jill: Randy, this is Big Bird. Big Bird, meet Randy.
Randy: Hey there Big Bird! Want a high five?
Big Bird: Sure!
Randy gives a high five back to Big Bird and Big Bird does the same thing
Randy: Ouch. Looks like you got hurt while skating, because my dad was telling me all about it.
Randy: It's no fun being hurt, but you can hang out with us until it heals up 100 percent. How does that sound to you?
Big Bird: That sounds good.
Not long after, Brad is done with his homework.
Brad: Finished! That's the big thing which needed to be done and I did the others at school.
Tim calls for Randy from downstairs saying he needs help.
Randy: Gotta go Big Bird! See ya!
Big Bird: Goodbye Randy!
Next up will just be one interaction only and not broken up into multiple ones unlike what's going on right now.
Coming soon:
Herry Monster and Wilson
Brad and Hoots The Owl
Luis, Maria, Jill, and Tim
Big Bird meets Brad (Final part)
Big Bird is seen in Brad's room
Brad: Hiya Bird!
Big Bird: It's Big Bird, not Bird.
Brad: I think Bird sounds cooler, don't you think?
Big Bird: I like Big Bird the best, but Bird is okay I guess.
Brad: Sorry we couldn't talk earlier, but homework had to be done first. My mom always wants me to focus on school before doing anything fun.
Big Bird: You know, I went to school once a long time ago.
Brad: Only once Bird? Why?
Big Bird: Oh I just didn't feel like going to school anymore, that's all.
Brad: You need to go to school so you can learn. It's very important.
Big Bird: But I want to go to school with you.
Brad: But the grade I'm in would be difficult for you, it's hard you know.
Big Bird: Maybe I could enroll in your school then.
Brad: Of course you can! But I'll have to talk to mom and dad first if it's okay with them, alright?
Big Bird: Okay.
Brad: How about we be best friends? Deal?
Big Bird: Deal!
Eventually, I'll be coming back to Big Bird and his rollerskates.
Herry And The Shy Friend
In the late 1990s, there was a song called Happy To Meet You and it was sung by Celine Dion. The song of course involved Herry Monster being too shy to confront her, so she sings the song and he comes out of his shell.
But what if something similar was done, only not in song this time? I can see Herry encounter Wilson playing his accordion, but he would be too shy to meet Herry.
This encounter is from around 1997-1998 instead of the early 90s like the last one was.
Herry And The Shy Neighbor
It's a beautiful day on Sesame Street and Herry is seen rehearsing for a play he's going to be starring in. The street is very quiet, which is unusual for this time of day.
He was just about to continue when he heard the sound of music nearby and goes over to wonder who it could be.
Herry: Excuse me, but hello.
Wilson continues to ignore Herry and continues playing which makes Herry very upset.
Not long after, Wilson stops playing and turns to Herry. But Wilson doesn't show his face like always.
Wilson: Howdy there fuzzy blue guy! Sorry about that, but I was practicing this song for a musical I'm going to be playing in.
Herry: My name's Herry. What's yours?
Wilson: The name's Wilson. And it's nice to meet you Herry.
Herry: Why don't you show your face?
Wilson: Oh, I've always been like this and people keep asking me when I'm going to come out from behind this fence. But I'm just afraid to, that's all.
Herry: Maybe I can help you come out of that fence so you cannot be shy.
Wilson: That would be nice, thank you.
Herry: When Celine Dion came here, she sang me this song and it helped me come out of my shell. Maybe if we talk to each other more, you'll no longer be shy anymore.
Wilson: Oh alright I guess. So what was that reading you were working on?
Herry: That's called a script and it's for a play about Fall.
Wilson: Do you have a role in the play or are you just the narrator?
Herry: I'm a leaf. What was that instrument you were playing, because I don't know what that is.
Wilson: It's called an accordion. It's a really big instrument and it has black along with white keys just like a piano.
Herry: Do you think you can do the music for our show?
Wilson: Sorry fuzzy guy, but I'm afraid that's not going to happen.
Herry has an upset look on his face
Herry: But I want to help you not be shy anymore!
Wilson: Herry, you are helping.
Herry: But... you aren't behind that fence.
Wilson: I'll tell you what. Maybe I'll come to your play and just watch, how does that sound to you?
Herry: Okay, but I was hoping you would play the accordion.
Wilson: I know buddy.
Wilson then smiles and puts his mini fence in the bag.
Wilson: Can we be friends Herry?
Herry: Sure!
Wilson: Let's go to that store over there and have a nice snack together.
Herry: That's Hooper's Store, but sure!
Both Herry and Wilson are seen smiling as they go to Hooper's Store together.
The end
Hoots And Brad
We all know that Hoots The Owl is the resident jazz bird of Sesame Street and loves his saxophone.
But what would happen if Hoots was worried about Birdland and nobody came to practice with him?
I can see Hoots meeting Brad and they would be saxophone playing buddies together.
Hoots The Owl Meets Brad
It's a cloudy day on Sesame Street, and the sky looks like it's either going to rain or thunder out.
At Birdland, Hoots is seen sitting down looking sad and lonely after a long practice by himself.
Hoots: My bandmates still aren't here yet and I am wondering where they are!
Anything Muppet Janitor: Maybe they aren't showing up Hoots.
Hoots: But they have to show up. There's a big concert here at Birdland tonight and I need them.
Janitor: I'm sure you can ask someone else to play with you.
Hoots: None of my other friends on Sesame Street play the saxophone at all.
Janitor: Oh, I think someone's coming Hoots. Maybe this will be a friend who can practice with you.
A woman can be heard talking to a boy about his saxophone lesson after practicing at Birdland.
The woman and the boy happen to be none other than Jill Taylor and her oldest son Brad.
Jill (voiceover): Now Brad, don't stay at Birdland too late now, you hear me?
Brad (voiceover): But what if there's someone who wants to practice with me?
Jill: Oh alright, but your saxophone lesson is before lunch and the recital is later on. Be ready for when I pick you up, alright?
Brad: Okay mom.
Jill: Have fun now!
Jill then leaves and Brad walks into Birdland.
The janitor: What's your name?
Brad: Brad Taylor.
The Janitor: My friend Hoots The Owl here is looking pretty sad and his bandmates aren't showing up.
Brad: What's up Hoots? Why you looking so down all of a sudden?
Hoots: My bandmates ended up not coming and now I don't have a saxophone partner to play with.
Brad: I can help you with that!
*Pulls out a soprano saxophone*
Hoots: I thought you played a bigger sax than that?
Brad: I do, but my mom told me to leave that one at home. She only wants me to use that for recitals, concerts, and practicing at my house.
Hoots: Was that your mom talking to you?
Brad: Yeah, it was her.
Hoots: And what did she say to you?
Brad: She said I can't stay long because there's a recital in a hour.
Hoots: Oh no my man! Well, we better get practicing then before your big recital!
Brad: But if I do well, she said that I can come back tomorrow even longer.
Hoots: Sounds good man! How about you solo first?
Brad: Alright.
*Brad plays some notes on his soprano saxophone*
Hoots: Woah! That's a high register you got there!
Brad: It's a higher register, yes. Your turn Hoots.
Hoots does the same thing, and then they duet together on a song Hoots composed.
Hoots: You won.
Brad: Me?! Really?
Hoots: Yes. My sax is really old and I've been playing this one for a long time.
Brad: You sounded really off Hoots, I did notice that.
Hoots sighs in frustration
Hoots: See, that's why nobody wants to practice with me Brad. Because they all say I should get a better saxophone because my playing is too weak.
Brad: You should get a tenor so you won't have to hit those high notes.
Hoots: You think so?
Brad: Yes.
Hoots: Maybe I should, you're right.
Brad: You have a really old saxophone and it's about time a new one came. I'll be happy to take your old one.
Hoots: Will you take good care of it?
Brad: Of course!
Hoots gives Brad everything he needs
Hoots: There you go man, make sure you take good care of it.
Brad: Will do Mr. Hoots!
End of Part 1
RetroGuy2000 09-10-2018, 02:35 AM Big Bird and the broken rollerskates
We know that Big Bird really loves his rollerskates, but what would the reaction be if he couldn't use them for a long time and had to be really patient? It would be good if he could be paired up with Mark.
I can definitely see this pairing working well on camera. Mark was just the right age at the beginning of the show.
I can definitely see this pairing working well on camera. Mark was just the right age at the beginning of the show.
This was probably around either the middle or end of the first season of HI and not the beginning.
It would be most likely mid-season 1.
RetroGuy2000 09-10-2018, 01:23 PM That'd still work!
That'd still work!
Then it’s mid-season 1 for sure! The reason I decided to not choose the beginning of the first season was because the show was still new at the time and wanted to wait until at least the halfway point.
RetroGuy2000 09-10-2018, 01:37 PM Makes sense.
Makes sense.
The end of Season 1 was also considered.
Part 1 of Brad and Hoots is done, and the final part is coming.
Here is the final part of Brad Meets Hoots.
Brad Meets Hoots, Part 2
Brad and Hoots are seen practicing when Jill Taylor walks in.
Muppet Janitor: Looks like your mom is here Brad, time to go.
Brad: Oh, I forgot. Gotta go Hoots!
Hoots: Great job today my man! See you tomorrow!
Brad: I'll be here!
Jill and Brad are then seen leaving the club.
Jill: Sounds like you were working really hard in there Brad.
Brad: There wasn't much time left, so I decided to practice some pieces for the recital tonight.
Jill: I just got a call from your saxophone instructor and your lesson got canceled, but the recital is still going on today.
Brad: But why would the lesson get canceled if the recital is tonight?
Jill: The instructor needed time to set everything up, that's why.
Brad: I'm the only one performing though.
Jill: I know, but everything needs to work in order for the recital to happen.
Brad: Oh alright.
The Recital! (Brad Meets Hoots)
Various Taylor family members along with Tim, Jill, Al, Heidi The Tool Time Girl, Lisa, Hoots The Owl himself, and even Wilson are seen in the audience. Mark and his friend are also seen along with Randy, Jennifer, Beth, Michelle, Lauren, etc.
The family along with friends are now talking.
Mark: I wish I could be in the band just like him. Why do I have to wait until next year to do it?
Jill: If you do good towards the end of the school year, then we will maybe consider you playing drums.
Security guard: Name please?
Wilson: Howdy ho! The name's Wilson! Excuse me sir, but do you have a place to hide?
Guard: Sorry, but you need to show your face here.
Wilson: It's how I am.
Guard: Here. Take this scarf, but you need to at least show your eyes.
Wilson: Oh alright then.
Guard: You're good to go. Enjoy the show.
I'm going to take a break from Brad and Hoots for now and do Oscar The Grouch and Brad.
Oscar The Grouch and Brad
Everyone knows (or should know) that Oscar The Grouch is the resident grouch on the street and he hates just about everything. The only things he seems to be into are trash, rotten things, and his pets.
But what would happen if Brad was seen playing his sax near or in front of his can and Oscar would be bothered by it?
Oscar The Grouch and Brad
Season 4 (1994) is when this story will be taking place at the time
It's a beautiful and sunny day on Sesame Street, and the street is unsurprisingly filled with kids, humans, and of course Muppets who are all enjoying themselves. Except for Oscar The Grouch.
Oscar watches everyone be all happy while he is in his trash can as usual. Just then, he hears some music which makes him want to hide in his can. Oscar then pops up from his can when he hears Brad Taylor starting to play the Sesame Street Theme on his saxophone.
He then finds out that Brad is playing right near his trash can!
Oscar The Grouch: Hey! Can you stop that annoying music you're playing and just scram?
Brad: Sorry about that. I didn't know you aren't a fan of my playing.
Oscar: Well, it's right near my trash can and that so called pipe of yours is on key. Not off key like I want it to be.
Brad: It's called a saxophone and not a pipe. If you don't like my music, put your own on then, okay?
Oscar: Fine. Whatever you say blonde boy.
Brad continues to play while Oscar continues to be bothered by it. Oscar is then able to find his off key music which he really enjoys very much.
The People In Your Neighborhood
This is a classic Sesame Street song which is all about people doing different kinds of jobs and what kind of work they do.
Here is how it would go with the Home Improvement cast:
Tim - Singing about being a TV show host/Toolman
Al - Singing about being a helper/assistant
Wilson - Singing about being a neighbor
Jill - Would sing about being a housewife
Song Roles
Here are how the roles in The People In Your Neighborhood song would go:
Neighbor - A neighbor is somebody that you can go to for advice or if you have a problem/issue
Mark and Cookie Monster
This would take place in the final season of the show. Randy would be in Costa Rica, Brad is off playing sports, and Mark is at home.
Setting: The Taylor's Kitchen
Cookie Monster is seen sitting down when Mark comes in.
Mark: Oh hi there Cookie Monster.
Cookie Monster: Me want COOKIES!
Mark: Sure thing. Let me get the cookies and put them on the sheet.
Cookie Monster: No no no. Me want them right now.
Mark: But Cookie Monster, you can't have cookies raw. You have to be patient and let them bake in the oven.
Cookie Monster: Me hungry though.
Cookie Monster attempts to eat the chair, until Mark stops him
Mark: My mother will freak out if you eat the furniture, so please don't.
Cookie Monster: Me sorry.
Mark: It's cool. Just don't do it again, okay?
Cookie Monster sees someone coming in the door.
Cookie Monster: Me wonder who that is.
Mark: It's my older brother Brad. He's home from soccer practice.
Brad: We have a visitor here?
Mark: Yes. Do you mind?
Brad: My girlfriend is coming over later and we are both going to study for the upcoming test which is in a few days.
Mark: Do you think you can study upstairs or something? We don't want it to be messy down here.
Brad: That's fine. We won't bother the both of you.
Brad then heads upstairs with his girlfriend.
The oven then beeps, Mark puts the cookies in the oven and sets the timer. A piano is then heard.
Cookie Monster: Me like that a lot.
Mark: Oh. That's my mom playing the piano. She used to play when she was younger, but she started back up again a few years ago. It's her old childhood piano that she found and she's really happy about finding it again.
Mark: Want to go watch her play?
Cookie Monster: You watch for cookies.
Mark: I'll have my dad watch them, okay? He's not busy with anything at the moment.
Tim: I'll keep an eye out for the food Mark.
Mark: Alright dad.
I'm thinking of doing something related to Halloween that will star Elmo. Don't know which HI character will be involved just yet, but I have a few people in mind.
Setting: Downstairs
Mark and Cookie Monster come downstairs and then Jill stops playing.
Mark: Hi mom. My monster friend here wants to watch you play, is that alright?
Jill: Of course! I love having other people come over to watch me play the piano.
Not long after they sit down, the cookies are then ready.
Mark: Let me get those for you Cookie Monster. I'll be right back.
Cookie Monster: You don't want cookie?
Mark: I can't have cookies because I'm vegan.
Cookie: What Vegan?
Jill Taylor: Vegans do not eat anything that has to do with animals. Instead, they eat plant based food.
Grover, Mr. Johnson, and Al
We all know that Grover has had multiple jobs including a waiter and one of his customers is Mr. Johnson who is frustrated a lot due to the service that Grover provides.
What would happen if Grover along with Mr. Johnson is invited to a special Halloween episode of Tool Time? Will Mr. Johnson be frustrated by the service Al provides?
Tool Time (With special guests Grover and Mr. Johnson)
At the time this special crossover was made, it's currently unknown as of right now.
Heidi or Lisa: Does anyone know what time it is?
Audience: Tool Time!
Heidi or Lisa: And here's your special host for the Halloween edition of Tool Time, Al!
Al: Thank you. My special guests here today that are going to be helping me carve a pumpkin are Grover and Mr. Johnson.
Grover: It's great to be here Al!
Al: And who is next to you Grover?
Grover: Mr. Johnson, who is a very good friend of mine.
Al: And what do you do Mr. Johnson?
Grover:
I'm putting this on the backburner for the time being.
Lisa The Tool Time Girl and Forgetful Jones
Circa 1991-1992
I thought I'd try a new character this time, but it's all about someone named Forgetful Jones. Who is he you ask? Well, as you can tell by his name, he can be always be known for forgetting things.
What happens when the two of them cross paths together? Let's find out...
Lisa is about to get ready for a Tool Time show, when somebody arrives.
Stagehand: Lisa, there's a "Mr. Jones" here for you.
Lisa: Mr. Jones? Oh, I didn't ask for a Mr. Jones at all.
Stagehand: Well, he's here to deliver a gift for someone and forgets who it's for. So that's why he needs your help.
Lisa: I'm about to go on Tool Time soon and need to make this quick.
Stagehand: No worries. I let Tim along with Al know that there is a Mr. Jones here and they said the show can wait.
Lisa is then greeted by Forgetful Jones.
Forgetful Jones: Oh hi. What's your name again? I forgot.
Lisa: My name is Lisa. You must be Forgetful Jones.
Forgetful Jones: Indeed I am. I'm here to deliver a package, but forget who it's for.
Lisa: I'll be happy to help you remember.
Forgetful Jones: Oh I'm so terrible at remembering things, so you'll really need to help me out.
Lisa: Don't worry Forgetful. I can forget things a lot as well, and you are not the only one.
Forgetful: Then let's go deliver this package.
Lisa: It says 'Jill' on the label, so that's Mrs. Taylor or Jill Taylor. Since you may not remember right away, she is Tim's wife. Tim is the host of the show I'm on.
Forgetful Jones: I'll try to remember that information.
Lisa: Now let's go upstairs and look for the bedroom.
Forgetful looks for the bedroom, but goes into the wrong room.
Lisa: No Forgetful. That is not the bedroom.
Forgetful: Oh dear. There are so many rooms in this house, I don't know which one is even which.
Lisa: It's okay. Just keep looking for the bedroom.
After some other failed tries, he finally finds the right room.
Lisa: I knew you could do it Forgetful.
Forgetful Jones: This is heavy.
Lisa: I know it is, but I have the other package to go along with it. How about you go knock on the door?
Forgetful knocks on the door.
JO Sweet Heart 02-01-2019, 10:52 PM I am sure that Maria and Luis would've love for Tim to come to Sesame Street because they could fix everything that he broke. :D :D: D

There is actually going to be a story with the three of them soon!
The Count and Heidi
We already know that The Count really loves to count. But what happens when Heidi has a problem and is trying to count something that she doesn’t think she can handle?
Leave it to The Count to help her out.
Characters I'm planning to do soon:
Ernie
Bert
Snuffy
Zoe
Telly
Rosita
Prairie Dawn
Elmo
Baby Bear
Luis
Maria
This one is for JO Sweet Heart, because I know she wanted a story with Maria and Luis in it.
Hola New Neighbors! (Part 1)
This would take place when Home Improvement was first starting out, so this is from early Season 1.
Luis: Oh hi! Welcome to Sesame Street! Today, Maria and I are expecting some new neighbors. We can't wait to find out who they are.
Maria: Hey Big Bird! Come on down and let's wait for the new neighbors to arrive.
Big Bird: Let me get Snuffy.
Big Bird: Come on Snuffy. Let's go and wait for our new neighbors to get here.
Snuffy: Okay Bird.
Big Bird and Snuffy go out on the steps and the others soon follow including Gordon, Bob, and Susan.
Snuffy: What do you think the new neighbors will be like Bird?
Big Bird: Oh I don't know Snuffy, but I hope there is someone my age.
Not long after the gang sit on the steps, the moving truck arrives.
Luis: Looks like the moving truck is here already!
A few minutes later, a moving van follows soon behind.
Maria: Well, that was quick. The moving van is here too.
Truck Driver: The neighbors still aren't here yet, but I'm just here with some of the stuff and they're flying from California.
Luis: But how come you're here if the neighbors aren't even here?
Truck Driver: We have to be here early. It's how the rules are.
The truck driver steps out.
Truck Driver: It was a long ride from California, that's for sure. But it's great to be here before The Taylors arrive.
Maria: You already know the names of the neighbors?
Moving Van Driver: Yes. Tim and Jill are the husband and wife. They have three boys.
Luis: Are you talking about Tim and Jill Taylor?!
Moving Van Driver: Yes I am. You know them?
Maria: We are really good friends with them, and haven't seem them in years.
Truck Driver: Since when?
Luis: The 1970s.
Moving Van Driver: I'm sure they will be really glad to see you two again.
The two moving men arrive and they start to take stuff into the house.
JO Sweet Heart 04-11-2019, 06:05 PM ^^^ Thank you! :) :) :)

^You're welcome!
It's not done yet, because there is still more to be done with the story! :)
Hola New Neighbors! (Part 2)
The moving men finish placing the stuff in the house when The Taylors finally arrive.
Moving Man #1: Looks like they're here.
Moving Man #2: Took them a long time too.
Maria: Are you done yet? We really need everything to be finished because they are here.
Moving Man #2: We actually just finished as a matter of fact, and right on time as well.
Moving Man #1: It just took us a long time because there was a lot of stuff. And I mean a lot.
Maria: Oh good. Let me get everything ready for them.
Gordon and Susan: We really need to get back to work, but we'll catch up with them later.
Bob: I have a music lesson in a few minutes, but cannot wait to meet them later.
The Taylors step out of their car, and Maria along with Luis step inside to get everything ready for The Taylors
Broken Air Conditioner At Hooper's Store
This will take place during Season 1 of the show (1991-1992).
It's summer on Sesame Street, and everyone on the street is enjoying the nice day. Meanwhile, Hooper's Store is dealing with a broken air conditioner and the residents do not know what to do about it.
It's time to resurrect this thread! It's been a really long time now since this was last done, and I have just the thing in mind to do for the holidays.
I was thinking of either doing something like Christmas Eve On Sesame Street which is based on The Gift Of The Magi or A Special Sesame Street Christmas which is based on A Christmas Carol.
Sesame Street and Home Improvement meets Cindy
Just like one of The Lost Girls on The Facts Of Life, my friend is also named Cindy. What if she came to the set of Sesame Street and met some of the cast members of Home Improvement?
Meet Cindy!
A young woman is seen walking towards Big Bird's nest with a musical instrument case in her hand. She then knocks on the doors.
*Cindy knocks*
Big Bird: Who is it?
Cindy: I'm Cindy. I'm here to take you to school.
Big Bird: Hi Cindy. My name is Big Bird.
Cindy: Nice to meet you Big Bird.
Big Bird: What is that you got in your hand?
Cindy: It's a trumpet. I play in a jazz band when I am not teaching.
Big Bird: You're a teacher?
Cindy: Yes I am. I teach special education students.
Big Bird: Where's Mark?
Cindy: He's waiting in the van.

Just like one of The Lost Girls on The Facts Of Life, my friend is also named Cindy. What if she came to the set of Sesame Street and met some of the cast members of Home Improvement?
You know, Mark in Season 1 of HI really would have been a GREAT guest star on Sesame Street. He was so young and so innocent that first year. The perfect age for Sesame Street.
And don't forget to include the world famous Valerie Bert'n'Ernie

I agree with you. The Meet Cindy story that I'm currently working on actually does take place during Season 1 of HI.

She'll be included in an off topic post.
tomdav 07-08-2021, 05:36 AM Ahaa... It's so funny. Another collaboration I could picture is Oscar The Grouch experiencing Brad playing the Sesame Street topic on his saxophone and would be annoyed by his playing.
