Yes there are, but some may prefer to keep part of their lives private. Nothing personal, if you see what I mean.

If it's any consolation most of us die in poverty. Take Chopin and Mozart for instance.

I do see what you mean, and it's fine if people prefer to be that way.

I can play the piano a little bit, but that is all. Sadly I am not anywhere close to being one of the best.

are you specifically referring to "professional" musicians, or can anyone particularly adept at noodling around apply?

i played guitar and bass and sang in bands many years ago, but retired due to issues with time/money/artistic differences/developing arthritis/etc


i'm guessing this means that you are thinking of getting the band back together...
