Topanga actually had three dads (Peter Tork, Michael McKean and Mark Harelik) not four, and just the two moms (Annette O'Toole and Marcia Cross) not three.

I didn't read the article yet, but an inconsistency that I was always aware of was the grade skip. They go from 6th to 7th to unknown to 11th to 12 to college. I was in the same grade as Cory and Shawn when the series started, yet they graduated high school two years before me!

^^^ That is how it was for me. The show started in the fall of 1993 which was when I started the 6th grade just like Cory, Topanga, and Shawn. They graduated two years before me.
