I'm assuming quite a bit... but they'd have to find the boat first. We're still looking for numerous planes that have disappeared into the ocean-- I can't imagine they'd be as lucky as to find the ship.

As for bringing it up once it's found, I guess it's my opinion that there would be little value in doing so, unless someone wants to fund an investigation to figure out why the ship sank...

Totally agree. Unfortunately, we don't see closure in quite a few missing persons cases.

Problem is there have been so many vessels that have gone missing & never been located that the cost of doing it for their families would be astronomical.
