Hi! #01- (Originally Aired January 6, 1976) Mary is watching TV in the kitchen. Her sister, Cathy Shumway, enters the house. Cathy and Mary talk about yellow build up, and debate if the floor has any on it. Loretta Haggers enters. She says that the Lombardi family was murdered along with their two goats and eight chickens, and soon they debate what hte name of the street is that they live on. A reporter from the Fernwood local newspaper enters the house. He asks them some questions about the Lombardis. Meanwhile, at the workplace, Tom Hartman and Charlie Haggers are eating. They turn on the radio and hear about the Lombardi murder. Charlie quickly turns it off because he's eating and does not want to hear about the murder of people. George Shumway, father of Mary and Cathy, enters. They talk about the Lombardis. The father of the family had worked at the plant but only for a short time. Charlie talks about Lombardi's radio, and how good his wife Loretta would sound on it. Meanwhile, at the Hartman residence, the phone rings. Mary picks it up. It's the police station. They have caught the Fernwood Flasher...it's Grandpa Larkin! Mary, in a daze, walks out of the house to pick Grandpa Larkin up.

#02- (Originally Aired January 7th, 1976) Mary arrives at the police station and meets Sgt. Dennis Foley. She doesn't understand what he means by 'flasher' at first. Grandpa Larkin comes out with no pants on, but he is wearing a jacket. He claims he didn't flash anyone. According to Sgt. Foley, he flashed a cafeteria lady on the playground of an elementary school. Grandpa Larkin says he was only taking a walk, but Sgt. Foley asks him why he wasn't wearing any pants. Grandpa Larkin says that his pants are being cleaned. Grandpa Larkin and Mary then leave. Meanwhile, at the Shumway home, Martha Shumway is in the kitchen when Cathy enters. Martha asks if Cathy went to school. Cathy says she couldn't because she had to help an Armenian bartender get to bartending school across the street. George comes home. Mary and Grandpa Larkin enter. Mary tells the family what Grandpa Larkin did. Cathy and George know what she's talking about, but Martha asks what he was flashing. Grandpa Larkin goes throuh the house looking for peanut butter. At the Haggers place, Charlie leaves for work. The reporter enters the house. He asks Loretta about the Lombardi family, and is distracted by the nightgown she got from Fredrick's of Hollywood. She sings a song she made about the Lombardi murders, called "Riding a Train to Heaven". Mary and Tom go to bed, and Mary acts like she doesn't want anything since that is what Tom had told her to do since he said he'll make love to her when he feels like it. #03- Mary is being interviewed by Reporter Harold Clemens on the Lombardi murders. Mary talks about a book she once bought about psychology, which was guaranteed to improve her emotional health. Harold asks if it did. Mary says yes, because she realized while reading the book that she needed glasses. She then tells him the "hillarious story" of when she and Tom first met. He had turned the water on a water fountain way up high and it had gone up Mary's nostrils. Mary's daughter, Heather, comes home from school. She says she's not hungry because she ate four boxes of M&Ms. Heather had been at the Lombardis the day of the murder, and he asks her some questions. Heather complains of cramps, and Mary sends her to her room. Meanwhile, at the Haggers house, Loretta is rehearsing an act. Charlie enters. He wants to hear the act again, even though he's heard it a hundred times. She sings "It Feels So Good When You Feel Me" to him. Tom and Mary are in their bedroom. Tom says Mary looks cute cutting her toenails. Mary gets excited, but it upsets him. They talk about Heather's 'cramps'..Mary thinks it's THOSE cramps that mean her little Heather is growing up..either that or they're from eating four boxes of M&Ms. Mary and Tom go to sleep, when the phone rings. Mary picks it up. It's Cathy! Cathy tells Mary that Grandpa Larkin has been arrested for exposing himself again. They go to the police station. Everyone is in a panic, while Sgt. Foley comments on Mary's new dress. Mary screams out, "Everyone calm down! Everything is going to be alright, and afterwards we can all go to the House of Pancakes!". Sgt. Dennis Foley tells Mary that Grandpa Larkin crashed a luau for graduating nurses at the hospital. They go off to the trial of Grandpa, but Mary first asks Sgt. Foley where the nearest House of Pancakes is.

#04- Mary, Tom, Martha, Cathy, and George are in a courtroom with Grandpa Raymond Larkin. Raymond enters and accuses the Shumways of trying to get rid of him. Martha says she would never do that to her pop. The judge thinks that Grandpa Larkin is crazy since he can't remember anything he does. Larkin does not want to go back to the Shumways, so Tom says Grandpa Larkin can stay with them. Grandpa Larkin says they have a lumpy couch, but it's better then anything 'Shumway' can offer. Tom, Mary, and Raymond arrive at the house. Grandpa wants to see Heather, but Mary prevents him from seeing her. Tom gets the stuff for Grandpa to sleep on, such as sheets for the couch. The next morning, Grandpa, Mary, and Tom are eating breakfest. They have conceived an alibi to tell Heather for why Grandpa Raymond Larkin is with them--his room is being painted. Heather enters and Mary tells her this. Mary hurridly gets her to go to school. George Shumway enters. He appologizes to Grandpa and says he can move back in. Grandpa says he will, so Grandpa and George leave. Tom says he and Mary will do something special..they'll go see Loretta sing at the lounge! At the lounge, Loretta is singing. Tom, Mary, and Charlie Haggers watch her. After the act finishs, Charlie asks if they want to see the next showing that'll come on soon. Tom says he might do something special though. Charlie leaves to do something, and Mary asks him what they're going to do. They get into a fight, and he thinks that she thinks he isn't up to making love to her. He says he'll show her, and Mary and Tom leave the lounge.
