I was watching a few minutes of a later season episode of the show with Dean Cain on YouTube the other day because it doesn't air in English at all here anymore, and noticed that there is a field correspondent by the name of Kelly Packard.

Why the need for one though? I mean, it was fine with just Dean at the beginning, but felt that the field reporter could've waited until the end so it could focus on the weird parts of the show.
