I'm torn.

Family Ties was a very topical show for the '80s: here was Alex P. Keaton, endlessly spouting Reaganomics while Mallory and Jennifer went to the mall. The whole premise of the show was the 1980s.

And yet... there is The Facts of Life. The later years of that show are so chock-full of '80s kitsch and '80s fashion that it's like a time capsule of that decade. Heck, the characters even started their own '80s kitsch store! At one point, a character is strangled to death using 1980s fuzzy dice!

No one has yet mentioned Small Wonder, which hasn't dated well, and might go down as the most plastic cheese-fest of that decade. The '80s technology, combined with Jamie's wooden acting, the cutesy doll clothing they put Vicky in, and the bizarre scripts, definitely put this show in the running as one of the '80s-est things to ever '80s, IMO.
