Netflix's new animated series Disenchanted (https://www.tvtattle.com/topic/Disenchantment-YkfrmW) has a number of nods to Matt Groening's earlier works, like The Simpsons, Futurama, and Life In Hell.

So far Disenchantment has been incredible. Season 2 needs to come out NOW!

A new Nerdist investigative video (https://news.avclub.com/damn-it-nerds-stop-trying-to-jam-disenchantment-and-f-1828567842) does a deep dive into the two Matt Groening series, questioning whether they take place in the same universe. The problem is that the video turns an inside joke into a conspiracy theory. As William Hughes says of a both shows existing in the same world, "sure, it’s hypothetically neat, but isn’t there a point where this encyclopedic need to “solve” all of pop culture starts to simply suck all the joy out of things?"

I can't wait to get the first season on Disenchantmet on DVD.
