Apparently MeTV's lost the rights to CHiPs, seeing as Charge is now airing it this fall. MeTV's lost the rights to some good shows lately.

METV rights to Chips Expire and they didn't renew it

Last Time METV Air Chips was in July 2015 then Summer 2017 it Move to METV sister channel H&I then that Fall 2017 Chips Left

I was flipping channels and caught it by surprise, the show is being aired to fit 16.9 TV's which is stupid as the show was filmed for old 4.3 TV's and now they pull this BS faux cropping without even a restoration to make the picture in HiDef.

I now receive CHARGE! Today they're showing a Season 3 episode of CHiPs from 1979 with Bill Daily, Larry Storch, Leif Garrett, and Larry Linville.

So to all of you Estrada fans out there, may you also get Charge!

Charge is gutting their schedule but it looks like CHiPs survives, weekdays 3-6pm EST and actually gets added to overnights.

It's been a good run, but it looks like it ends Friday.

Charge has revamped their programming model to crime series. So like Knight Rider before it, a 70/80s action- adventure show no longer fits.

Thats sad.......... and these networks wonder why they are failing??
