This is probably a fruitless attempt at displaying all the known differences between the TV (and by definition, reruns) version and the DVD versions of Laverne and Shirley, so let's start with something...
Generally, the TV versions these days have the 2003 Paramount logo at the end, with an apparent single mistake with Season 8, Episode 14, where the 2003 Paramount logo has the original 1982 Paramount jingle. It is very rare these days to see the TV versions retain the original Blue Mountain logo.
Season 1:
All episodes: DVD versions have a 2003 Paramount logo with the 1975 Paramount jingle.
Season 2:
Episode 5: At the beginning of the episode, the TV versions have Carmine sings Elvis Presley's "One For The Money, Two For The Show," also the background music in the Pizza Bowl is that of Elvis Presley and the background music in Rosie's apartment scene has "Chances Are" by Johnny Mathis - Carmine's singing scene is edited out (about 45 seconds worth) in the DVD versions and the background music at Pizza Bowl and Rosie's apartment is changed to generic background music in the DVD versions.
Episode 13: Shirley sings "Zippity Do Dah" at the beginning of this episode on TV, that is edited out in the DVD versions.
All episodes: DVD versions have the last part of the closing theme playing over the CBS/Paramount closing logo on. This does not occur in the TV versions.
Many episodes, except Episode 10: "In Association With" removed from the bottom of the Miller-Milkis Production credit notice before the CBS/Paramount closing logo.
Many episodes after Episode 3, except Episode 10: The copyright notice before the Miller-Milkis Production credit notice is that of the first 3 episodes or so of the season, with the result that it results in an incorrect copyright year (1976 instead of 1977) for the later episodes of Season 2 and also has a different font from the TV versions.
Season 6:
Episode 1: When Laverne and Shirley look at their emptied out Milwaukee apartment for the last time, "Yesterday" by the Beatles is played in the TV versions - the DVD version replaces this with generic music.
Episode 2: "Hooray for Hollywood" played at beginning of episode in the TV version, DVD versions have generic music replacing it.
Episode 3: Laverne sings "There's a Summer Place" at beginning of episode in the TV version - this is edited out in the DVD version.
Episode 11: "High Tide" scene totally edited out (4 minutes worth!) in DVD versions - this presumably exists in the TV versions.
