Okay, I've started compiling a list of episodes where Steve isn't the main focus. Just a convenient little list, if you are sick of Steve being the main focus all the time.

I'll just skip Season 1, because the only episodes in that season where he's the main focus are "Laura's First Date", "The Big Fix" and "In a Jam". So let's start with Season 2:

Episode 4: Flashpants - This is a Carl and Harriette episode.

Episode 5: The Crash Course - This one goes to Eddie and Carl, even though Steve plays a notable role in it too.

Episode 9: Dedicated to the One I Love - Another Carl and Harriette episode.

Episode 14: Ice Station Winslow - Another Eddie and Carl episode. Steve is there with them too, but he just tags along.

Episode 15: Son - Carl and Eddie yet again.

Episode 16: Do the Right Thing - This one belongs to Carl.

Episode 19: Busted - Carl and Eddie. Although, Steve plays a notable part too.

Episode 22: Finding the Words - This one is about Carl, Harriette and Rachel.

Episode 25: I Should Have Done Something - Carl yet again.

These are the results after I skimmed through Season 2 again. Some of these are open to debate, but counting those above, that's 9 out of 25 episodes in Season 2 where Steve isn't the main focus (or one of the main focuses). Carl and Eddie had quite a few episodes together, as you can see. There's some Laura episodes in there too, but they are also Steve episodes. I'll do the other seasons soon.

I post this in another thread already, but much like the list for Judy, I thought this deserved its own thread too. I'll do Season 3 soon.

Sorry the wait, everyone. Now here's Season 3:

Episode 5: Daddy's Little Girl - A Carl and Laura episode, as the title implies.

Episode 12: A Pair of Ladies - Harriette and Rachel has this one.

Episode 13: Choir Trouble - This belongs to Rachel. Steve is fairly prominent too, but Rachel plays a bigger role. Two Rachel episodes in a row!

Episode 15: Jailhouse Blues - A Carl and Eddie episode.

Episode 16: Brown Bombshell - Eddie and Estelle. One of the rare examples of an Estelle episode.

Only 5 non-Urkel episodes this time, with all, but one of them oddly being in the midway area of the season. One could argue that this was the season Family Matters became the Urkel show. However, I tend to think it was Season 5 when it became his show, as the Winslow family is still a big focus in most of the episodes. I'll go onto Season 4 soon.

^^^ I love that Choir Trouble episode because we get to hear so many of the main characters sing at the end. To me, the actors and actresses did an awesome job. :) :) :)

God bless you and them always!!!

Now finally, here's Season 4:

Episode 6: Whose Kid Is It Anyway? - Eddie, Waldo and Richie.

Episode 7: An Officer and a Waldo - Eddie and Waldo. Steve is fairly prominent too, but the former two play a bigger part.

Episode 11: Muskrat Love - Eddie, Melissa, Laura and Maxine.

Episode 12: Hot Wheels - This one belongs to Carl and Eddie.

Episode 13: The Way the Ball Bounces - Eddie, Laura, Carl and Harriette all have this. Three non-Urkel episodes in a row!

Episode 15: Tender Kisses - Eddie, Waldo and Weasel.

Episode 19: Mama's Wedding - Estelle and Fletcher, as the title implies.

Episode 20: Pulling Teeth - Carl, Richie, Waldo and Maxine.

Episode 21: Walk on the Wild Side - Laura, Maxine and Harriette has this. Three episodes in a row again.

So, this actually has more non-Urkel episodes than Season 3, with 9 episodes, tying with Season 2. Like with Season 2, there's also quite a few Eddie episodes. The next post will be for the rest of the seasons, because after Season 4, the non-Urkel episodes are few and far between. This is why that I feel that Season 5 was when Family Matters truly became the Urkel show.
