Beaver’s Old Buddy and Beaver’s Tonsils. I thought both were way down on the Richter scale.

You would think Jackie and Beaver would have found something in common. Talk about the movies they saw, friends at school, maybe a girl they liked at school or sporting events they saw. Maybe play a popular board game like Monopoly, Jumping DJ or Rocket Sockem Robots. I think Jackie adopted an attitude way too quickly. They both could have given it some time. It’s like two girls who used to play dolls meeting up after a few years they aren’t gonna play dolls!! I wish they brought back Larry for the episode but his mother didn’t look like Susan Hayward.

In Beaver’s Tonsils it showed just how immature and materialistic Beaver was. Didn’t we have to endure Beaver wanting his parents to get divorced so he could get presents now he wanted an operation to get presents. Jeeeeesh!

I agree with you. And according to "Beaver and Stanley," which was way before "Beaver's Tonsils," Beaver did have his tonsils removed.

Beaver's reaction to NOT having them out was unbelievable. No kid (or adult for that matter) would want to go under the knife, even with the promise of pretty nurses and ice cream.

And we've talked about the Jackie Waters episode before. Bad episode, bad actor. Ugh!

Glad you all agree. I found it a waste of time. It was just like the kid came to visit Beaver and then wound up hating him. Love how Ward is going to take them to the movies and finds Jackie’s waiting for his parents. “How do you think I feel I’m missing Vampire Valley.” Love when June mentions Flowers of Spring “uh oh adults only filmed in Sweden.” I remember that wayback watching the show. So some of the writing was funny.

Beaver’s Tonsils was just lame. Ward pampered Beaver and to make him feel better about not getting his throat cut he got him a telescope.

And how many theaters are there in Mayfield? What is this Bosarts? Did we hear about that in Voodoo Magic? What happened to the Valencia?

Didn’t hear the theater they mentioned. I think they also had the Globe, Mayfield Theatre and the Olympic maybe. I remember a post about all the theaters I’ll find it.
