View Full Version : My Three Sons Actors Appearing with... Elvis?
biffbronson 08-08-2018, 10:18 PM I thought it would be fun to start a thread about Elvis - M3S connections.
Among the dozens of films in which Elvis Presley starred, actors who made one or more My Three Sons appearances occasionally pop up. Here are some My Three Sons guests who worked with Elvis on film, starting out with 2 female and 3 male:
Blondell, Joan
Craig, Yvonne
Fong, Benson
O’Connell, Arthur
Rey, Alejandro
Please add to the list -- thanks.
Cynthia Pepper
Joanna Moore
Pamela Austin
Jenny Maxwell
Julie Parrish
Hazel Anyday 08-09-2018, 11:09 PM You stole my one thought;), Cynthia Pepper, who was in "Kissin' Cousins", otherwise I'm not a big Elvis fan/expert. I think I've seen 3 Elvis movies all together, and only saw Kissin'... recently because Cynthia was in it.

Thanks for the additions. One question though, Julie Parrish or Leslie Parrish? I know that Julie worked with Elvis and Leslie was on M3S, but did either do both?
I should have thought of Cynthia Pepper right away, as her Elvis experience was a selling point for her autobiography.

Julie Parrish was with Elvis in, "Paradise Hawaiian Style" and was actually in three M3S episodes. The one I remember most was, "How Do You Know?"
Leslie Parrish was not in an Elvis movie, but her M3S episode is one of my top favorites of the series. Trivia on Leslie Parrish that I found interesting, but might be common knowledge. She wore the same pink toga dress that she wore in the Star Trek episode, "Who Mourns for Adonais?" a few years later on the Mannix episode, "The Girl in the Frame."
biffbronson 08-10-2018, 01:32 PM Great, thanks! I remember seeing Leslie once on Mannix in a short outfit with white boots.
Editing your list together with mine alphabetically:
Austin, Pamela
Blondell, Joan
Craig, Yvonne
Fong, Benson
Maxwell, Jenny
Moore, Joanna
O’Connell, Arthur
Parrish, Julie
Pepper, Cynthia
Rey, Alejandro
stevea 08-10-2018, 05:51 PM Ed Begley, Jr. - 1979 TV Movie Elvis (ep. 8-12 "The Computer Picnic")
Hazel Anyday 08-10-2018, 07:35 PM I mainly think of Julie Parish as the babe who played the wife on "Good Morning World", though I do remember seeing her pop up in various other shows, I think in some beach movies if I recalls right. Poor Julie, she died before her time at a fairly young age.:(

Yes, she died at 62.
Jenny Maxwell and her husband were murdered in 1981 when she was only 39.
PracTz 08-11-2018, 05:26 PM Let's not forget the occasional guest performer Charlotte Stewart who was most heavily featured in Season One 'Deadline' as literary wannabee crushing on Mike who was trying to salvage the high school newspaper. Yeah, she'd become the 1st Mrs. Tim Considine in 1965 but the union would end in 1969.
Anyway, while performing under the name of Charlotte Considine, she had a bit as a carhop in "Speedway". However; the "Little House on the Prairie" alum (who played Miss Eva Beadle) would claim in her autobio in 2016 that despite her having a bit part, Mr. Presley somehow felt compelled to tell him a great deal of his life story, dreams and ambitions for an hour before Colonel Tom Parker abruptly ended the convo.
biffbronson 08-08-2021, 04:37 PM William Demarest had a role in Elvis' 1964 film "Viva Las Vegas."
Jimmy Hawkins - 2 eps of M3S - role in the 1965 film "Girl Happy."
CosmicCharlie 08-29-2021, 09:33 PM were the overlapping performers maybe all signed by the same company ?
