As a kid I was haunted by Green Acres. Imagine with a last name of Arnold!! The kids all called me 'Arnold the pig' until I cried. I hated school just because I had to deal with that all the time.
Just to add something... I thought Eva Gabor (and her sister) were 2 great examples of 'dumb blondes'. Ok.. I'm ranting but now it's off my chest :-)

Eva Gabor was a very classy actress, and she was not a dumb blonde. Eva was never arrested for slapping a cop or getting kicked off of an airliner like Zsa Zsa was.
I was a big fan of Eva, and she was not only my favorite actress, but the idol of my youth. Her death has really affected me, I was very deeply saddened by it, and I miss her so much. :( Nobody bashes the idol of my youth, and I mean NOBODY!!!!

As a matter of fact, I was teased a lot in school because I liked "GREEN ACRES". The kids use to sing the theme song to me, call me "ARNOLD THE PIG", "GREEN ACRES", and "GREENIE" for short. That was so cruel.
But anyway, I was very deeply affected by the death of Eva Gabor, and when my cable company added TV Land, which at the time was airing the reruns of "GREEN ACRES", I just started crying on and off because I couldn't accept the fact that she was dead.:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Ok, well I have to admit it was more Zsa Zsa who was a twit. The two sisters just looked so much alike, I assumed they were the same. Sorry for my ignorance. In any case the show might have had different memories for me if the stupid pig wasn't called Arnold!
Again about Eva Gabor, I don't recall ever seeing her in anything but GA.

Eva Gabor made numerous television appearances before, during, and after "GREEN ACRES". She also appeared in movies and in the theater as well. She was an all-around actress.:
But unfortunately, her death really affected me. When my cable company added TV Land in August of '97, which at the time was airing the reruns of "GREEN ACRES", I just started crying on and off. I couldn't accept the fact that she was dead and that I really missed her, and I still miss her to this day. Her death has simply brought tears to my eyes.
July 4 marks the seventh anniversary of her death, and I will never forget her for as long as I live. She's here today in spirit and she's in a better place today.
