It’s August Tuesday the 7th 2018 the middle isn’t on but The Golden Girls is at 10:00pm hour. Did Hallmark loose rights? If so will nick@niTe be airring it this Fall 2018? Thank you.

According to zap2it, The Middle is still airing in Freeform network. Even though Hallmark no longer airing The Middle, will have to see in the future fall 2018 if any other networks will pick up The Middle..

Here I thought The Middle would be on Hallmark for a long time to come. What a waste of a channel they have become, their lousy movies are taking over more and more of the day and The Golden Girls is the only one of their series now with decent slots. 1-8AM has a great lineup of Frasier, Cheers, and I Love Lucy, but that same lineup would be a lot easier to watch 1-8PM instead. They could at least let other channels have daytime rights to those shows. :yousuck:

Yes I have Freeform. Watching it right now.

Yes Hallmark has gone downhill. They didn't even match TV Guide a few weeks ago--you turn on Lucy and the TV Guide says Lucy, and it's some stupid Christmas movie.

Pretty soon they'll probably dump everything and go back to that 24/7 Christmas movie deal again.

Just another channel to have no use for.

If nick at nite picks up the Middle, I'm sure they will pair it will the Goldbergs at 4am or 5am. Go figure. New shows on the lineup should get earlier hours and shows that been on forever should be in the late night hours. Or that the way the good old days were.

Or that the way the good old days were.Let's hope Nick at Nite does not get The Middle then and it goes to a better network. Their mostly off the clock makes Nick at Nite unwatchable for me. UP should look into The Middle, it would be a good choice for them 11PM-1AM and more fitting a family network than Whose Line is it Anyway and The Parkers have been there.

Whose Line Is It Anyway is now on Bravo as well, but I am uncertain if the old version is on there or not.

Catsrule,

I agree with you about UP. However we don’t have UP here.Yes you are absolutely correct on if nick@niTe picks it up it probably will be butchered.Although seeing some of it is better than none.Perhaps with the new leader in charge of nick@niTe it won’t be that bad. I heard on a you tube podcast that the departed leader Cyma Zarghami wasn’t a fan of the splat or nick@niTe.

It probably wouldn't be badly butchered on a Viacom channel, since the original episodes are in the 21+ minute neighborhood. However, they NEVER, EVER put the commercial where it belongs, you never know when the program will be one due to off-the-clock, and they will have some edits, and they're almost always obvious and bad (even casually watching Two and A Half Men, the edits stick out like a sore thumb.)

Is there a word about which networks acquiring The Middle? The Middle losing hallmark rights, am I right?

The Goldbergs will leave n@n starting Sept 23 for more George lopez, so I doubt the middle will air on n@n. So far no new acquisitions on n@n
