I ran across this on You Tube, name of the song is "Archie's Melody", the people singing it called themselves "The By Liners". They sort of sound like The Ray Conniff Singers. The song sounds like the ideal type of tune to be performed on The Lawrence Welk Show, Mr. Welk enjoyed songs like this. It looks like the song was recorded in 1961, and on the Billboard charts it bubbled under the hot 100 for two weeks in early 1962, making it to the 117 spot.
