What would you do if you knew tomorrow’s news today? If you knew the winning lottery numbers? Could rescue people from accidents and certain death? That’s what Gary Hobson (Kyle Chandler) asks himself every day.

A Chicago stockbroker whose marriage is on the rocks, Hobson becomes a reluctant hero when he is delivered the news a day in advance. Chuck (Fisher Stevens) is Gary’s best friend and not above using Gary’s knowledge for personal gain, and Marissa (Shanesia Davis) feels Gary should use his information to better people’s lives.

Now Gary has the chance and difficult responsibility of using this mysterious gift to help others avert tragedy and misfortune.

i will definitely pick this up! Early Edition WAS my favorite show growing up in high shcool!! I never understood why they never gave it proper ending!! i heard cause that was when the reality shows was getting popular! i hope one day they might bring it back or at least make an early edition movie!! ! ! i do got the 1st & 2 seaons on dvd!! i wish they would show it on tv!!

This made me wanna watch it again. I think I saw some episodes of it on YouTube.

I think it maybe moving to that new sister network Start TV but I’m not quite sure.

I was SO happy to see this recently! I ordered it right away and I've been enjoying watching the full series again on VEI's DVD set. SO great to finally have Early Edition complete on DVD! This is one of my all time favourite shows! :)

do you think its worth $40 bucks? i thought about saving the first & second seaon & maybe they might just released season 3 & 4 separate!! do you guys know if they will release seaon 3 & 4 in seaon sets? let me know if you guys know any thing!!

In my opinion, it's totally worth $40- mainly because I LOVE the show! And it's probably not gonna get any better than this as far as DVD releases go. I would recommend holding on to the Season 1 and 2 DVD sets that were previously released though, as the compression is a bit better there and you have promos included.
I doubt Early Edition will get separate Season 3 and Season 4 DVD releases but I suppose you never know. The complete series set may eventually go down in price though if you want to wait it out a bit.

vei has done that in the past for their other releases, release individual season sets after releasing the complete series. it just takes a good while til they get around to it.
