In the category of "odd items for sale", here is a 1984 paycheck to FOL actor Hugh Gillin (https://www.historyforsale.com/hugh-gillin-paycheck-endorsed-02-15-1984/dc38725) (Howard the Eastland Cook) from Warner Bros. The payroll check, which was cashed that year, was for $52.92. It can be yours for only $180.00!

That was all he got paid for appearing on an episode or was this a royalty check from the reruns?

I'm sure it had to be residuals. He had long left the series when this check was issued.

When I click the link it says the listing sold or unavailable---I wonder if someone here bought it and has it pressed in their FOL scrapbook.
It's an interesting website and something i'll have fun perusing through so I bookmarked it. I clicked on a check from Gracie Allen (George Burn's wife) for $5.30 in 1943 paid to someone named Elizabeth Parsons and i'm left wondering what the hell she paid for with a check for that tiny little amount?!
One would think George Burn's wife would have 5 bucks in her purse to shell out.

I bet it did sell. Hugh was in everything; he played a lot of sheriffs, military officers, and of course those four lovely FOL episodes.

 Well, adjusting for inflation (https://www.usinflationcalculator.com/), that would be $78.55 in today's money.

I figured it out! She paid for dancing lessons which makes sense since she was in entertainment. I Googled Elizabeth Parsons, and The Elizabeth Parsons School of Dance popped up.
It makes sense even more with the inflation you posted...$80 for a dance lesson I think sounds reasonable.

One of his family members may have found it after he passed. Since the check was probably was too old to cash, they figured on how to make some money from it.
